I love the smell of asphalt in the morning! I grew up 2 city blocks from the NYC Municipal Asphalt Plant, so that smell triggers a lot of childhood memories.
As far as we know, they were wild. We didn't see any tags on them, and the whole extended family just seemed to be wandering in the campground, road, and nearby homes.
