Didier Drogba and the Ivory Coast team managed to stop a civil war rooted in religion, back in 2007
After getting them into them into the 2006 World Cup they went on national TV and went to their knees begging to stop the war and asked to hold elections
In 2007 he asked for a match to be played in a Bouake, a rebel stronghold area.
Because of celebrations, their pleading, and Drogba's persuasion to play in hard-hit areas, both sides of the conflict signed a peace treaty and ended the war

Racism been there in Europe for a long time, what Benzema and Ozil said also being said by Einstein in the 30's which said basically like 'if my theory not proven, for French i'm German and for German i'm just Jews'. European just became good at hiding it behind the notion of democracy, human right, liberal or progressive but the deep inside them, they very conservative. And remember they not only doing racist notion to the human descent from outside the continent but they also doing it to human descent from their own continent like Brexit notion toward Polish people in Uk for example. In the Netherlands, the Dutch (especially the Government) still cannot differentiate between the Indos and the Indonesian despite been living together there for at least 72 year since the Dutch leaving the Indonesia archipelago in 1950, the question should rise 'how can you make sure all Dutch people have their human right, have their opportunity be fulfilled by government policy when your own government don't know how diverse and rich you are as a nation ? The answer will be : we will make policy based on White Dutch citizen and you all second-class citizen will follow it like your ancestor did when we introduced Ethical policy in the colony hundred year ago". Yes the racist Ethical policy which basically saying "We will give back to the colony, we will develop the colony and we will help the helplessness of native and provide them opportunity" but behind it they basically said "You just Barbarian so you will think like us, You don't have your own language so you will speak our language, You don't have your own culture so you will embrace our culture and you will became like us so be greatful".
So basically we not learn from the past and today we as human is not less racist then people of yesterday, we just happen to be good hiding it especially hiding it from the people of tomorrow.

Middleeastern is racist, East Asian is racist, Southeast Asian is racist, South Asian is racist, all human is racist at the end but not at the same time like how European (government usually) campaigning their democracy, liberty, freedom, human right to all people like their way is the most righteous way to live in this planet and others is evil so they need to change to become like European (or "American") when European or American still have this negative view (stereotype) toward other different from them.
I'm not denying what you said that is why i said we not change at all, we not evolve to better society in this case world society because we human choose not to learn and we choose to bury and hiding our past because we are to proud of our existence as human being as individually or collectively based on our identities, we human choose to paying attention in our skin color which are abstract concept and overlook our sameness that we have skin which are reality or we choose to see about the different shape of an eye we got and overlook that we have sameness that we have an eye. The sports may be integrated, but the many of the fans are still racists. Unfortunately, it is possible to be a non person of color, love LeBron James, and still hate black folks and people of color. @@samsen3965 Hello. I would beg to differ.
Countries like Japan and South Korea didn't become developed because of immigration. They adopted Western influences without immigrants from the West.
Regarding the USA, the colonists/immigrants (mostly from Western Europe) didn't travel to a country that was built, but rather to a land that was still being built (of course at the expense of the Native Americans who are not happy that today there are millions of people on their land who were never invited by them). The voluntary participation in american society by the Native Americans and blacks was limited. They were not the decision makers. There's a reason why the natives were put on reservations and why blacks were discriminated against. Asians boasting about the Chinese building the railroad in America is nothing to brag about because they just allowed themselves to be the cheap labor.
The immigrants of the past decades are basically parasites. They go to countries that are already built, attend universities already established, and continue the technology and medicine that was pioneered before them. All the hard work was already done. What keeps the USA going are its big corporations and its 800 military instalations around the world that ensures their access to the world's natural resources while at the same time intervening in other countries.
I will say the problem with Britain is one of finance and priorities, and not a problem that non-European immigrants can solve. Britain still has economic issues since the 1930's. At that same time period Germany was able to recover from its 3rd world conditions without the big banks or Non-european immigrants. Germans farmed their own land, built their own highways, worked in their own factories and cleaned their own cities and towns. Best regards.

France took in a lot of north africans from former colonies and Britain took in a lot from their former and current colonies too. They all needed people after losing so many of their men to war.

France and Britain could recruit from among other European countries or provide work incentives to European people who live outside of Europe (i.e. Canada, Austrailia, South Africa) to return to the continent.
How much better is France and Britain (I've been to both countries) thanks to Non-European immigrants? Immigrants don't keep their economy going. Responsible fiscal policies and investments are what keep the economy going.
