Wandern im Teutoburger Wald - das Teutoschleifchen durch die Schachselwiesen

- Hier gibt es ein paar Eindrücke von dem Teutoschleifchen ´Schachselwiesen` bei Westerkappeln im Tecklenburger Land. Ausgehend vom Campingplatz Weisses Moor geht es zuerst entlang des Mittellandkanals, der längsten künstlichen Wasserstrasse Deutschlands. Danach geht es vorbei an den Koppeln des Gehöfts Grundmann und weiter durch eine wechselnde Landschaft aus Kiefern- und Laubwälder und Wiesen und Ackergflächen. Zuletzt geht es wieder ein Stück entlang des Kanals bis man den Ausgangspunkt erreicht.

Here are some impressions of the Teutoschleifchen ´Schachselwiesen` near Westerkappeln in Tecklenburger Land. From the campsite Weisses Moor you first walk along the Mittellandkanal, Germany's longest artificial waterway. Then it goes past the paddocks of the Grundmann farmstead and on through a changing landscape of pine and deciduous forests as well as meadows and arable land. Finally, it goes back a bit along the canal until you reach the starting point again.
