    its interesting how the node names are pretty straightforward and, at least for those with an expanded english vocabulary, pretty easy to understand. i feel like it would really help a lot of beginners to understand what these words mean to lessen the intimidating learning curve haha

    At 17:00 how did you get so many variations of your can in just 1 geometry node? You only attached mesh line and instance to points.. How does blender know to create this many variations? How are they coming?

    • @CrossMindStudio
      @CrossMindStudio  Před rokem +2

      Inside material of that can, you can use object info node and choose random and use that in combination with hue saturation node for color of can. that way every can will have different color. Similarly u can use a texture with color ramp, and vector of texture can be modified with random node, that way you will get variation in texture( wavy shapes) on can as well.

    Hello, this looks to create motion graphics for products. I want to to something similar with three different cans (using three different image textures). Could you elaborate a little how you are getting multiple random textures in your can object...? How would one set up the object or materials to do this...? thank for any additional pointers.

      I mimght be wrong but after waching chapter 3 and 4 I don't see any example of applying different materials with different texture sets several objects instanced all at once like you do with the cans here. In those videos I think you keep it simple and you just using a Set Material node to the different geometries just before you use Join Geometry.
      In this example with the cans the cans already come with different materials when you start creating the instances. No use of Set Material can be seen at that point. Apologies if I am missing something. @@CrossMindStudio
