I literally love this woman with all my heart - she is the sweetest, most genuine, most comforting asmrist I’ve ever watched has got me to sleep every day for about 3 months now. I found it hard to sleep anyways, so when I developed depression it just got worse.
Enter: TingTing, an ASMRist who:
a) does hair-relegated ASMR

For lice checks at my Elementary School, we just stood in line and the nurse took a quick peak at the tops of everyone’s heads. I wish it was this long and relaxing.
We dont even have a nurse. If we think we had lice we would just go to a teacher and they would do a quick 2 second look then send us to the office to call home
I think my check lasted like 5 minutes, my nurse actually knew a lil bit and examined our scalp lol

In elementary school, our nurse had 2 inch long fake nails. She couldn't open bandaids but she could give a scalp massage like no other. I was in a class to help improve my reading with a few other students and the classroom was next to the nurses office. The nurse came in a lot to talk with our teacher during slow times and she'd go around the room and run her nails up and down everyone's scalp and honestly, I miss it; it was so nice.

Yeah, my hair is definitely the same way. I tried everything before I realized that my hair looks conditioned without ever having to be anyway. Ugh.

Nina Elliott I do the same as them since my scalp is very oily but my hair is super long and gets dry and frizzy (I’ve got wavy hair). I use shampoo on my scalp and hair, then after rinsing I apply conditioner only on my mid to ends. Then I use a wet brush or wide tooth comb to comb all of the tangled out and evenly spread the conditioner on my hair, making sure to massage it into my ends more since they’re the driest part. Then I twist my hair up and pile it onto the top of my head while I wash the rest of my body and shave so that the product has time to sit in. Then I rinse it out and brush my hair again. I’ve never had lice in my life despite all the outbreaks of it at elementary and middle school when I was younger and now that I’m older I still have never had problems with my hair looking too greasy (I wash my hair every day though) due to an over application of conditioner. You need to wash your hair to prevent lice but conditioner has nothing to do with cleanliness of hair. Lice are in search of blood and a home (preferably overly clean hair but idk if that’s a rumor or not) to lay eggs so using conditioner on your scalp or not won’t affect that.
