TBH I'd hope you let Coach Rob talk a bit more. He's being very polite and only speak when you queue him in but I could tell there were times when he wanted to elaborate but it's your channel he didn't want to steal your thunder (Maybe I'm wrong and he's just a quieter guy in general, but as the host of the video you could get him open up a bit more).
Also I think the overall rhythm can be faster with the content more concise. E.g. we don't need to discuss what the color of the new pro staff racket is, we just want to know what're the specific player types and use cases best suited for each racket line, understand the rationale behind creating this specific line (blade, pro staff, burn, etc...).
Thank you for the full explanation. It was very informative 👍
Thank you! Very helpful!
Best wilson review by far!!! Great video👍 you two are also super friendly and match very well... good job guys💪
I loved the endpiece in the rain !
He failed to actually explain the lines as per Wilson
Pro staff - precision & feel
Blade - control & feel
Ultra - power and control
Burn - power
Shift - spin line
Clash - soft and power
difference between precision and control?
hot mess.
Clash is a spin frame. Very wide string pattern. Tons of spin but short string life.
Great host,great guys
Harry, you forgot to mention my beloved Clash 98 V2 😄
Curious as to why 2 samples of the Shift and Burn racquets shown were new with placards and already strung ?
can you do this for babolat or head?
Blade 104 is a great racquet to teach with!
Hello Harry! Im pedro from Portugal 🇵🇹 and i buy me a couple pro staff Ls v14 , but i know that Wilson doesn’t sell it on they’re web site or tenis shops, can you figure that out for me??? Thanks in advanced!!! Love your videos! Thanks from Portugal 🇵🇹
If you don’t mind what is the name of your shop because if I ever go to the west coast I’d like to visit the store and give you some business
Isn't Clash the flexible racquets of the lines?
Yes it is like a rubber band
@@Frank-ed3db and unpredictable. old people use it
Not sure what they mean by flexible. But the blade is even softer than the PS.
Wonder when the new blades come out
@@user-be5qg7mr1s The wide string pattern on the 100s are the source of most of the supposed unpredictability. Used properly (Wilson specifically marketed it for "the modern vertical swing path") it's very predictable. It was never intended for flat hitters, though many buy it for the arm-friendliness. You need to be able to put plenty of rpms on the ball to make it predictable.
Wasn't it Prince that had the three swing length guys? Or did Wilson do it too?
Can you please do this for head
Do you mean RF97 V14 will coming this year?
Hi Harry. I´m very confused. You said the Prostaff 97 v14 is the most flexible racket of the line, but it´s stiffness rating is 66. Blade´s rating is 61, Clash´s is 60, Shift´s is 68. So clearly the most flexible is the Clash, then the Blade and then the Prostaff 97 v14. According to the stiffness rating, the Prostaff is on the stiffer side.
I agree I think there confused 🫤
They usually seem confused about specs on this channel...
they mean flexible as in beginner to advanced players have an option they shouldnt have used he word flexible it confuses people
@@louiselouboutin9045 Prostaff and blade are not beginner frames lol
@@Ahelow they are, any great racquet is begginer friendly, i started with a aluminum racquet and when i switched to a normal graphite one it was day and night difference
Flexibility discussed was not in Racket specs but in the type of player who could use it.
Can you explain the Head line up?
Where is your shop located
There's actually a Blade 98S v8 not available in the US, so the Burns aren't the only racquet with the S pattern left.
The S technology was introduced in 2012. All the lines have them apart from ultra
@@Official.tadiwa I mean current racquets. Most racquets got rid of the S after CV, which is 2 gens ago. The Blade and the Burn lines are the only ones to still have S models available. Also the Clash is the only line to not have S technology. There was a Ultra xp 100S and Ultra 103S.
What was s pattern?
Thanks guys, but I would really like a clearer explanation of the differences between the Pro Staff and the Blade.
The PS gives you an exact information where hit the ball and you immediatly know where it is going. So precision but less marging for misshits. The Blade may give more power and is more forgiving but doesn´t give that precise feedback.
How is the Pro Staff the most "Flexible" line of racquets!? The Clash line is far more flexible. I don't think the term you want for the Pro Staff is flexible. Maybe versatile would be a better term.
Can you do a video such as this for babolat?
Or Prince, which is a mystery.
I got the cheap $60 Blade 105 for $7 at a Ross store.
I can't find any review or even mentions of this model.
Why does it seem to not even exist in the tennis world?
Weird how no Ultra 97 anymore. It was the mold for the pro stock H19.
the other way round
the color is called "Chamelion - Copper Brown"....Thank you
can 11 years old boy (level 3.0) handle glade? thanks.
108 or 104 perhaps.
Clash is the most popular in my club
Would the shift be an alternative to the head gravity mp with 18x20 pattern?
No
Hmm similar but the gravity line is a little unique (100sq Head and thin beam). The Wilson Shift is more of competitor to the Head Speed (thicker beam with a bit more power)
Wilson has the best/soft feel racquets. Too bad their quality control sucks on specs.
WILSON!!!!!!!!!!!! ⚽⚽⚽
Wrong emoji kunt
Tennis shops need a room with a net where customers can test a racquet out, similar to what golf shops have a driving range into a net where you can test a club.
wilson is all over the place. Lets make a billion different raquets and hope for the best? who is using the shift? ( white clash) who is waiting for an RF version of prostaff? ( cricketts)
The Shift is nothing like a Clash. It's far less forgiving of bad technique.
2x speed is godly
19:47 I'll play with you even in the snow 😅. I'm the most reliable partner anyone can find.
U skipped the class 98 lol. I've seen high level juniors using the clash 98
the pro staff is not the most flexible… clash then blade…. then shift, pro staff, burn, and ultra
they mean flexible as in beginner to advanced players have an option they shouldnt have used he word flexible it confuses people
they all have beginner to advanced options - the pro staff is the least friendly to beginners and intermediates for sure
Pro Staff is defo not the most flexible - the Clash is. LIterally its USP.
they mean flexible as in beginner to advanced players have an option they shouldnt have used he word flexible it confuses people
@@louiselouboutin9045 The Pro Staff is by no means a 'beginner's racket.' In the trade, 'beginner' is a term for people who haven't yet learned to make a full swing (and so cannot generate their own power) and cannot consistently put the ball in the sweet spot in the string bed. A naturally gifted person who is able to do these things the first time she has a racket in her hand would not be classified as a beginner for this purpose.
No prep for videos, just always winging it. That's the American way... It can work but tennisspin seems to crash most of the time.
So many mistakes..
- pro staff is not flexible
- blade has a bigger sweet spot than pro staff
- clash 98 is also available, so what they said it's not the whole line
- not only the burn has the S (spin version). I've seen the latest pro staff in spin effect version as well. 97LS
they mean flexible as in beginner to advanced players have an option in the pro staff range they shouldnt have used he word flexible it confuses people makes no sense
You must be German.
@@djp3525 nope
Harrys saying makes no sense. He lakes weight, he likes feel but than says that he like the burn. This ist a light, stiff racket .... the total opposite.

lol harry, I love you but if you have coach Rob come in to explain the lines, why are you doing almost 80% of the talking?
dont let your guest speak enough
Why bother having a guest on if you’re not gonna let him speak and continually just talk over him?
Wilson is a disaster
