It Looks Sad is the alternative rock/dream pop trio fronted by songwriter and vocalist Jimmy Turner. Turner delivers confessional lines with a sense of longing -- for purpose, for a time that once was and for a hopeful future when there's very little hope to cling to. Turner captures the trapped, isolated feeling of our current era with gorgeous imagery, sweeping guitar sounds and muggy textures. Creature was their first song I ever heard and 1 year later it is still their only song I listen to regularly
If you haven’t yet, you should seriously check out their self titled ep. It has some great tracks that are sorta similar to creature

I was the same for a while with them, but the more I explored with them, the more I was pleasantly surprised. You might wanna do yourself a favor and check more of their stuff out. I particularly love Nagoya and Radical. Those two songs gave me a much bigger taste than I was expecting.

Do people like the "full sessions" videos more than videos of each individual song? As always, great looking video and great sounding recording. I really dig those tom sounds!
its good to have both, i like listening to the full thing with interviews in between, sometimes you want just one song and its great that its there too

I prefer to watch the full session first, then if I want to go back and watch any songs I'll watch a split version

i helped build the drummer from scratch, we ordered all the parts off of etsy and wish and just kinda threw him together.
the rest of the band was like man we really need a drummer but dont wanna put up with drummer bullshit so I mentioned i was an amateur like robot building hobbyist type of person and yeah, we just built him. my crowning achievement

I'm from the same town as them and I'm pretty sure I've bought a hot-dog from the drummer in front of one of our venues. lol
I was majorly disappointed with the studio version of the album, but seeing it live clears up some of my inhibitions. Creature is still their best song by far

I absolutely loved creature and kind of thought they had a menzingers tone and was totally shot down when I downloaded their latest album. Musically it's not shitty but it's just really not for me or what I expected.

They need a few other "hits" to get popular I think; but creature is just an amazing song. It's got a mystical sound to it that really resonated well with the changing vocals.
