As a friend of the owner of Casey's bbq and steak did not close down due to the virus the owner closed down because she was stressed out and sold Casey's bbq and is still the owner of Hacienda Court Apts which she is getting plenty of money so thats why she sold Casey's bbq

Ridgecrest is island city in the middle of the Mojave desert. And during the Co-Vid pandemic there wasn't anywhere you couldn't go without a mask. Add to that , the mask were sold at a premium. Supply and demand. You could buy them easy enough, but they were definitely overpriced. ANYWAY, my point is that this community, being an island in the desert, did not suffer the huge impact of covid as other , more populated areas in our state. I've always been grateful for that fact.😊

Shut it down. I grew up there and saw many many many businesses close. Not a good place to be a business owner unless you work for the base.
