I am traveling a lot this month so I only have time to do one regularly-scheduled cover at full strength for September. So to fill the empty space until that video, I decided to knock out 16 suggested covers from the comments that I thought would be funny to get a taste of but that I didn't want to make full versions of. Goes without saying that this is entirely for fun and that these won't end up on Spotify (for now).

My favorites are undoubtedly Apple Bottom Jeans and the Thomas the Tank Engine theme. They worked disgustingly well.
That Apple Bottom Jeans bit isn't getting anywhere near enough love tbh. That was fucking BRUTAL and it felt like such a tease to cut it so quickly into the drop. PLEASE do more of that, even if it isn't the full song

@@knightbot4052 Tbh, I was just talking with a buddy the other day about this. I feel liek Geoff's work is fantastic. He obviously has a good understanding of the riffage and electronic sounds that make up the Argent Metal sound, and his composition, mixing, and ability to layer a lot of sounds together and make it all flow well is top notch. All this said, I feel like he's limiting himself by doing covers, and particularly covers of songs that I don't think transition into the Argent style as well as other songs or original compositions might. I've enjoyed every song he's put out so far, but I feel like if he were to choose more things that compliment the style like ABJ or write original songs, his ascension will be complete.

If this was about to be soundtrack for new Doom game, I imagine the levels would be like this:
Spongebob FUN Song- You are being awaken from sarcophagus yet again by mysterious entity, to "have some fun" /intro plays/
Apple Bottom Jeans- You fight against first hord, and they bring out a lot, mainly some Mancubus cheeks to clap.
Thomas The Tank Engine- Map that looks like demolished train station, depot, or even better, trainwreck scrap yard. Lots of dark burned metal, almost looks like in some post-apo steampunk.
Barbie Girl- (recommended to play with unicornslayer skin)The Slayer is then guided to some old UAC outpost, inside is a new enemy type, plastic imps. The best way to get rid of them is flamenthrower, or tearing their arms off, that's easy.
Spooky Scary Skeletons- Graveyard-like arena filled with revenants, nothing more needed.
Ievan Polkka- Some snowy level, lot of space to jump around and meathooking, using Slayers mobility to your advantage.
Careless Whisper (Sexy Sax Song)- You meet with intern again, he is now general. Some new lore is dumped on Slayer's helmet here, but then their base gets attacked.
Super Mario Bros (Audiofreq)- First boss, kind of mechanical, based on techno theme, something like Doom hunter or Cyberdemon, but more robotic. Arena is bigger with some upper platforms, you can use this to your advantage and jump around. When you finish, you exit by old large pipe.
Wagner's Bridal March- You have to stop some ancient ritual that is giving more powers to these hellsapwns, and so you do it, by violence, of course.
Animal Crossing New Horizons Theme- Slayer proceeds to liberate an entire island from hands of demons. In this level, you are assisted in combat by adorable counterpart.
Gangsta's Paradise- Little did anyone know, that minute after minute, hour after hour, demons are preparing to blow Earth's core to oblivion. You stop them, but wave of power takes you back, to hell.
Mii Channel Theme- You enter dark depressing place and fight your way to surface trought harder and harder enemies, the last ones is squad of really buffed chaingunners.
Sandstorm- You enter large area on surface with ancient ruins. Sandstorm rages around, same as demons, maybe the most intense fight yet.
Home Depot Theme (No Guitars, many tools)- /cutscene/ You find a fine new weapon (propably another version of BFG, maybe hell crafted one, still, let's stick to our guns) and don't worry, right there is a room full of demons to test it on!
Baby Shark (Andrew Baena, Corpseweed, Vebrik)- Another boss battle, on shores of hell oceans, this time with marine based enemy (maybe Samur transfigurating to Cthulhu like monster?)
Always gonna slay you up (You got Doomrolled lol)- "Big suprise", you have to fight the entity that has awaken you, for it tried to corrupt you and use you for it's twisted selfish needs. You kill that shady mf and walk away like badass, who Doomguy truly is.

The Thomas theme could also be like the tram segment at the Doom Hunter base level, but the scrapyard could also work.
At the Animal Crossing one, you could maybe find a bunny who reminds you of Daisy, and the Barbie girl lvl should also be quite colourful, like a neon cyberpunk-themed UAC facility to enhance the experience.
Nice, Legit sounds like an official Dlc script, or at least one of those heavy story mods you find online. I'd play that! 👏🏾
