More crinkles = more aluminum foil surface area that strengthens the chemical composition used to loosen dirt and debris. Also, the more crinkles = space for your jewelry to sit UP on and not stay at the bottom with all the dirt and debris. Let the chemical reaction work and the junk fall to the “valleys” or low spaces, keeping the now cleaner Jewelry up on the “peaks”.! ❤❤

Past Pandora worker here. Flakey salt and foil are equally as effective in cleaning (aluminum and salt chemically reacting is a great tarnish cleaner) and safe on ALMOST all Pandora jewelery. You can and should skip the baking soda bc baking soda is an abrasive and will cause micro scratches in your jewelery and will actually strip the luster on certain stones and metals much faster. Also, if you wanted to clean it at home, just use a teaspoon of blue dawn dish soap, some WARM water, and a reusable container and gentle shake it then use a toothbrush to get in the nooks and crannies then pat dry with a paper towel and polish with a polishing cloth! Yes, as plated jewellery is a layer of gold placed on to the surface of another metal (usually sterling silver) to coat the piece, anything plated will eventually tarnish over time and wear. However the thicker the gold layer, the longer it takes for you to see any tarnishing or fading. In general, though, most gold plated jewelry will begin to tarnish within a few years of regular wear.

The more you wear your bracelet and jewelry the less it will oxidize because the oils and movement from your skin will keep it shiny. You will just have to clean it once a month with either a pandora cleaning solution or a small drop of dawn dish soap a soft toothbrush and some water.
Also if you aren't planning to wear your jewelry you can store it in a ziplock bag to keep the air from oxidizing it.
Don't store it in your bathroom because of the humidity
and lastly don't shower or sleep in your jewelry that can cause the charms to wear much quicker than they normally would. Always use a last on first off mindset with your jewelry to avoid getting perfume or anything on it that can have a negative chemical effect.

Please take your darkened jewelry to the jeweler. no need to clean them yourself! you can ruin and scratch it. let a jeweler clean them and cover them with rhodium! yes, it is more expensive, but it is safe for your jewelry and such cleaning after coating with rhodium will be extremely rare!!!!!

Saw on tiktok but it has been a hack printed in newspapers and magazines, monthly for the last 100 years. We are failing the younger generations. We have taught them nothing, guys. Next year there’s going to be a tiktok hack on how to fold a graphic t-shirt correctly. We MUST do better. Give your children real life chores before they start mixing up mustard grass and calling it a cleaning hack.
