I don't know if anyone said this or not but another helpful way to keep your Pandora and other silver jewelry from tarnishing is to use anti-tartist strips in your jewelry box.
I learned that sterling silver WILL GET TARNISHED and is normal as part of oxidation in metals. You just need to clean, not request to replace.
I would also like to say as a current pandora employee, anything that is pearl and mother of pearl must be hand polished only. Please don't put it in water as it can get damaged over time.

@@cocothetravelingdog Here in the US, we have a one year warranty policy. That can only be honored if you have the original receipt. Then we would go ahead and exchange. If this is something you bought more than a year ago, you would have to repurchase. If you are only looking to repair, you can try a jewelry store that has repair services because pandora currently doesn’t offer repair services.
And Do Not use a polishing cloth on any piece that is
Pearl or mother of Pearl,
You'll ruin them
they must not be genuine, genuine peal soaks in the water it’s whole life until harvested

I honestly can't understand why the heck a person would even think of throwing an entire silver bracelet in the GARBAGE just because it's tarnished, also after paying a lot of money for it. If you spend that much, how don't you know how to take care of it? Ok, Pandora jewellery easily gets tarnished but it's not like those wish jewels that you wear once and get RED for oxidation... Trust me, I literally gave a friend of mine 30 euros for her bracelet with 4 charms that costed 204 euros because she had just thrown it away. It was nothing compared to those in this video, it was literally carbon black, I spent two hours and a half brushing and cleaning them with warm water, soap and with a silver specific product that my mom had and now I am wearing it like brand new.

Hello Lizzie, I been a Pandora jewelry fan since 2013. I had a friend that had one. And I asked her wow that is such a pretty bracelet. She said yes I got it from Pandora. I was like I never heard of it. So she said to me they have a sale Spend $100 dollars get a free bracelet. She lived in Long Island & I lived in Brooklyn New York. She had a store not to faraway from where she lived. So said they are having a sale. I went and I purchased 5 Charms and they sized me for my free bracelet. And I been hooked ever since. I’m on my second bracelet and 6 rings. And lots of gifts for my family. I don’t buy as much as I used too. But my 2 favorite charms are the Eiffel Tower & Puerto Rico flag shaped as a frog which is referred to as the Coqui. Thanks for doing this video and helping us learn how to clean our Pandora Jewelry.

I use the same cleaning method. I find that I can get everything much cleaner when I take the charms off of the bracelet and I’m glad that you mentioned taking them off. I would suggest using a very soft (kid’s) toothbrush and a microfiber cloth instead of a napkin to dry them off, this minimizes scratching.

@@rrxoxo88 hey hun! I would stay away from those items. I was told to NOT use them when I worked at Pandora since it can cause continuous tarnishing and discolouration of the jewelry!
I love my pandora bracelet but it was looking so tarnished. Thanks for this informative video on how to clean it. I’m recently wanting to add charms bc I don’t have very many. I’m a stay at home mom so not able to purchase lots of charms at once. I’m not sure if you have videos on how to style the bracelets. Most of my charms are about my kids, my wedding etc. we honeymooned at Disney in 2006 so I have some Disney charms. I’m not sure I understand the spacer beads, clasps and all of that. They don’t seem as fun as buying the cute charms 😂. Anyway if you have a video on that, that would be awesome for someone like me who only has like 7 charms.

I know the silver's only worth so little right now, but you could cash in on the brand name at least (also just cleaning them). :D

Here in England UK. We have Fairy washing up liquid which is made by the same people who make Dawn.. However, it is not as good as Dawn because when in the EU, they would not allow Dawn in this country, because they banned the ingredients so our fairy is nowhere near as Good. How do people store their bracelets so that they become so tarnished? I saw this video yesterday & it made me go check on my bracelets, which I don't wear as often now that I'm not working. None of my bracelets are tarnished, not even ones I haven't worn in ages. I keep mine individually in the velvet pouches that Pandora charms come in. They don't claim to have any special cleaning properties, but my bracelets are still looking good.
can you put these in the electrostatic cleaning machine?? i use baking soda to buff sterling it was old sterling but it did a really good job now that i know about these bracelets and how bad they tarnish i dont think ill be buying any tho i do love sterling silver thank you for sharing
Hi, jeweller here. I would recommend a liquid silver polish, rubbing it in with the toothbrush, then dishwashing liquid and the toothbrush, and last the polishing cloth.

Pandora and Tiffany silver jewelry tarnish more than my other silver jewelry. My husband cleans them by putting them in an ultrasonic cleaner w/Simple Green, and that works okay. I’m going to try it your way!
The ultrasonic cleaner is not recommended for pave and some charms with smaller set stones. Everything else, I agree, comes up a treat.

to bed is completely fine! but I would take it off in the shower due to body wash/shampoo.. it will tarnish the bracelet after a while.
I recently learned that you need to wear your silver often.... that way it won't tarnish.... If you're not wearing it it'll tarnish ....

you could of used 1/2 teaspoon of liquid soap , baking soda about a teaspoon and lay your jewerly on aluminum foil in the water ! it comes out sparkling clean ..no polishing !

Add a generous amount of baking soda and you will see a huge difference.

if you take care of it properly it shouldn't. but to answer your question I have seen the rose peel if it wasn't handled properly.
Does aluminum foil..baking soda and hot water work also? If you put the foil in a bowl with shiny side up and add baking soda and HOT water to it drop silver jewelry in.. it will clean...work on Pandora?
I did that with mine and it works. I dried it off afterwards and used a silver polishing cloth, sometimes I use a microfiber cloth

Use a degreaser. I used to work at a pandora too and we used a brand of degreaser “simple green” it’s honestly so much fast. You do water and simple green and then you rinse in water and dish soap and it’s done no polishing needed

Horrifying to see this video, I use Pandora cleaning solution, when needed special paste to buff out any scratches if any & I clean charms individually,
I use a special brush to clean in between carefully. Pandora is crazy expensive, especially 14k gold…. Don’t do this please 😱

I think Lizzie knows what she’s talking about considering she was literally a Pandora employee. They will be trained on how to look after it so they can inform their customers how to look after their jewellery even if they don’t use the Pandora cleaning kit. A Pandora employee in the store my bf and I went to basically gave me the same advice that Lizzie gave in the video. 😅

This was the first time I’ve watched you and I have to tell you you spent five minutes talking and you could’ve said what you said in one minute. I almost turned you off so just think about that!. What you did to clean the bracelet took about two minutes to show and that would’ve really been a better video.
