I don't mind pausing. I'd rather a pause than talking over the video. Loved this reaction! One of my favorite PTX vids!
Agreed. Pausing vs. talking over the singing preferred. I also like when you run it back to listen again or back up just a little after pausing so that nothing is missed.
Y'know, we've all heard these songs a dozen times. Now we're watching you react to them. Pausing them to point out special parts and comment is what we're here for. If we want to hear an uninterrupted version we can just go to the original and watch it AGAIN. You go right ahead and pause, replay, backtrack, comment, gush and- react.
The bigger your concerns are in the beginning, the more I am looking forward your face expressions. 😂 I would live to see you compare the Beyonce evolutions of ptx and superfruit. Both great, but hughe difference.

Avi does that same bass-drop transition in their cover of Gold that you did earlier. It's just more noticable here b/c you're looking for the transitions. You mentioned you like listening to Scott and Mitch sing together. You really need to start doing some Superfruit (their side project). They do Evolution videos as well. Their Evolutions of Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus are great. But, I'm especially fond of their "Beyonce" (no evolution since it's all from one album) cover and their "Empire" medley.

PTX have 5 evolution videos. First was Music in 2013, then later that year Beyoncé. Michael Jackson was 2015. Then, in the Matt era, Rihanna in 2018 and Ariana Grande in 2019. All are very worth watching, but you can see the skill jumps and confidence levels when you watch them in order. 😁
Actually, IMO the early ones with Avi were just as amazing as anything they have done recently. His mastery of the bass transition was epic.
@@rlhcat7662 While I agree that they are all awesome, but the transitions in the Rhiana and Ariana ones are seamless!
I love all of their videos and I like Matt a lot but there was something special that Avi brought to them. I'm not saying Matt isn't great but Avi is next level.
My only intention in mentioning Matt was to clarify the timeline. I don’t have anything to say on the Avi/Matt debate, as I think both are special in very different ways and it’s like comparing apples and oranges.
As awesome as PTX has always been, they have improved in skill over the last 8 years, and with experience has come a confidence (in themselves & in what they’re doing) I don’t think they had at first. (I’m comparing Scott’s after video comments in Evo. of Music to the ones after Evo. of Rihanna.) That’s not to detract anything from PTX’s early work, just pointing out that watching the evolution videos in order is one of the easiest ways to see how much they’ve grown.

I appreciate pausing when it’s someone with musical understanding! You it’s so much fun to watch because you can understand how **insane** their capabilities are on a technical level. (Unless it’s vocal coaches 🙄... maybe just my own trauma from 20+ years in choirs haha)
Also, it’s better than talking over the video. And pausing is a necessary copyright avoidance with a lot of their videos, but I’m not sure if any of the evolution videos are among them. They are only on CZcams. None of them are on their albums that I’ve seen. I’ve also never heard a reactor say they’ve had one of these blocked.
I appreciate your pausing because it is a pet peeve of mine when reactors talk over the video they are reacting to (and with ptx they do such quick, wicked transitions etc that you could miss a WHOLE LOT by not pausing)

One of the best Scott and Mitch songs is their cover of Feelin Myself on their own channel, Superfruit. Like, it's kinda unexpected, but so freaking worth it!

Great reaction as always! I don't mind pausing if you have something to say. My favorite reactors always rewind a second or so after pausing so they don't miss any transitions. As you know PTX has the most amazing transitions and a lot of vocal surprises so a 1 second backup after a pause always avoids you "missing the best part".
Evolution of Music was my first PTX experience ever and their oldest Evolution song too (I think). Perhaps do them Chronologically from oldes to newest?

You should check SUPERFRUIT is a side group of Mitch and Scott. They sing a lot, they even have an album out. Also, they have hundreds of videos like vlogs and stuff

Dude, I don’t mind the pauses at all. You aren’t talking just to talk. You actually have something to say. Do you ever sit there and wonder how the heck you ever existed before discovering these guys? They’re un-freaking-believable. I still think you need to react to their Sing-Off journey from the start to the end. It’s wild to think that they had been together less than a week as a group when they started competing. Yeah, this is a GREAT video, and I'm glad you finally saw it. Now, please react to Evolution of Music (their first evolution video) and Evolution of Beyoncé. With all of these, and so many other early videos, they are sitting on chairs or a couch, and they take turns singing the solo parts and they all kill it. A few other great early videos to check out - Somebody That I Used to Know, Royals and Thrift Shop. And their original Can't Sleep Love.
I don't mind your pauses at all. You have interesting points to bring up and you usually go back a bit to get back into the song. I love how much the music excites you when you hear it for the first time. Like the transition into Will you Be There - it always brings the hair up on the back of my neck and we can see it had some sort of major effect on you. Keep it up!

Loved this reaction! As a Michael fan myself, I would recommend watching a live performance of this evolution since they incorporate a lot of Michael’s signature moves into their performance!

I want to know what genius writes their musical scores! All their arrangements are multi-dimensional and artful - it's hard to imagine who could write musical scores on this level.
Please don't hesitate to pause when you have something to say. That's MUCH better than talking over it or waiting until the end to make your comment. As long as you rewind a bit, which you usually do, it's fine. Anyone who wants to watch PTX without pausing should simply watch their video instead of a reaction.
I LOVE the pauses and rewinds. I watch reactions to know what you're thinking! I almost always go to the original video immediately afterward to watch and listen straight through.

i think the beyonce evolution is great but i'd love to see you do the live one like they did on gma or some show like that, they were just standing in their offices and sing it all the way thru and its a long one but that version to me was better than the one they did on Ellen. ofc the official video is good but i just love to see them do it live. maybe you could do both to compare them in one video if you felt like it! love your reactions always click as soon as i see you posted!

Not to be rude or stereotype but you don't look like the person who loves Michael... but im so happy when people who aren't typical fans end up being the best fans. Im a Huge Michael and Freddie fan i feel they were on the same level of genius. I was super worried when they did Bohemian Rhapsody but they did an amazing job. And I loved this because we got a taste of all of his music kinda start to finish. And they seemed to only change the arrangement to fit 5 voices.

Hey Kyle, You and I seem to be from the same music planet. I have 2 other types of music maybe you could check out. I love, LOVE them both.
First is Kyoto Tachibana High School Marching Band. Now wait... give at least the rose parade field performance a look. they are amazing. Bet you'll keep watching more of them.
Second is Kawehi. Amazing looper that is just a phenomenal muisician. Look for her Michael video that she plays from her bed. Just amazing.
