@@ExolusionCS yeah I try that but it’s very inconsistent at finding the raids I want like if I wanted something like Mewtwo Mega Tyranitar or Rayquaza but I get an invite for something like Mega Aggron or a 1 star which makes it longer to get candies and mega energy and plus I can only remote 5 times daily further decreasing how much candies I can get

In the main series games GMax/Dmax Pokémon only last 3 turns when the player uses them, switching them out or 3 turns in DMax will turn the Pokémon back to normal. Also any pokemon can Dynamax but Gigantamax are special looking forms with a unique move that differed from the standard Dynamax. Only specific pokemon can GMax similar to megas. Health gets doubled (given requirement met).
This could theoretically turn any Pokemon into a budget mega and that includes legendaries so this is could be huge for your average player. Questions like being able to do both mega and DMax would make more raids doable solo. Also would DMax/Gmax be in PVP because it was broken in the main series games competitively. Either way looking forward to Gen 8. Grimsnarl is so amazing can’t wait to use him again

Confirmed? Didn’t previous anniversary pictures include mega Mewtwo and mega lucario? To me, it’s not confirmed until they actually confirm it
What are you defining as 'confirmed' ? Confirmed just means it coming to the game. Doesn't matter if its 3 months or 3 years.
As for D/GMax, it's in the code. I expect that sooner rather than later.
For Mega Mewtwo X/Y, we only have the models in the code but not any moves etc. So the fact that the DMax models and mechanics are in it means its coming sooner rather than later.
@@SunDrinkeras Mewtwo is already considered one of the strongest Pokémon in the game, I'm expecting the Devs to try and bring something stronger than that in, before we even hear about a "scheduled mega mewtwo debut"
Personally I would have introduced ALPHAs then Dynamax. It would be bigger than a XXL with a stats going over 15.

@@basillah7650 That doesn’t seem like a strong enough reason to add them to the game. A simple entry doesn’t enhance or alter gameplay. And if you’ve noticed, we’ve had a LOT of events going back to fall festival last year that gave extra xp.

@@spencelavern Not really? In Japanese, Dynamax is called Daimax ("big-max") while Gigantamax is Kyodaimax ("gigantic-max", or very literally, "giga-big-max"). The one that gets form changes is the "enhanced" version

Every Pokemon Go anniversary year Niantic had created a poster. Some of the Pokemon diagrams in the poster hint will make a debut within about one year but some of them are not true. For example, Pokemon in the past few years poster like Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mewtwo Y and Mimikyu are not debut yet in Pokemon Go.
How about the Pokemon Go anniversary poster when Pokemon Go is going to shut down?

Finally. Let's go. I know it's never been confirmed but there was talk that raids in Pokemon Go directly inspired dynamax pokemon in Gen 8 or vice versa.
Yep it definitely did I think. The Journeys anime (which tied in with SwSh) featured raid battles too

While this is cool and I play both games I've never used any Gigantimax forms I've only used the Dynamax forms but I'm not going to get too excited about this because 1 we don't know when it's coming and 2 because we don't know if it's going to be in person only like the elite raids or unlike the elite raids we can do them remotely until that is announced what's the point of getting excited only to end up disappointed if it gets announced that they can only be done in person

Dynamax is the mechanic as a whole, Gigantamax is just the same as regular Dynamaxing but with form changes. If you mean they will release Dynamax only for the Pokemon that have Gigantamax forms (as if they were Megas)... I wouldn't put it past them LOL

@@13ricked_ Yep. Just to clarify for OP, any Pokemon is technically capable of Dynamaxing. Gigantamax is just a type of Dynamax that gives form changes to a select few Pokemon, including Duraludon.
But the Dynamax mechanic as a whole (incl Gigantamax) in the main games was only exclusive to SwSh, and Archaludon was added in the generation after that so it never got a Gigantamax form. But Archaludon should be able to Dynamax in PoGO like any other Pokemon if it works similar to SwSh
