Great vantage points. I left London 15 years ago and now live in New Zealand. It amazes me, how much London is finally growing up. As a kid, the only buildings I remember was the Natwest Tower, The Post Office Tower, Centerpoint and the Barbican towers. Now there are towers everywhere.

Best view is from Severndroog Castle viewing platform . In Eltham south east London , close to the points you went to . Costs £3 and it is open on Sundays from 11:00 -16:00.
Also check out for free the Greenwich Cemetery on well hall road , Eltham . Walk towards the monument of the heroes fallen in the wars and on the right hand side you will see hut( small house ) . That’s the best place to take a home shots .

Reminds me of the view of Manchester city centre from Chadderton / oldham border about 8miles north of The centre of the City. Not as many Skyscrapers as London but enough for you to know your in a big enough city. Also its on a gradual hill about the same height as these so you get a good view of the urban spread below and as far as you can see. The buildings are not same height as Londons Tallest like shard and lead better etc but got a few 150 to 200m then more just under. Londons got more of them aswell as the shard and a few more. Dont get me wrong Londons something else compared to Manchester. For a provincial European city though not many can compete with Manchesters skykline. Only, Paris, Moscow, Istanbul, Frankfurt and Warsaw are anything like Londons. Not many others in Europe as good as Manchesters and defo none in Uk. So you get that big city feel. About time cos apart from a few its only last few years theyve put any big city size buildings up. Plenty of nice architecture but didnt have a modern skyline for its size. Right thats my geeky rant done. Nice view.

Before the virus there was often polluted mist hanging over Canary Wharf that I could see from my garden. I wondered about whether people living and working under this were conscious of it.
