    They weren't naive (Andrew et al). They were arrogant.

    He gave it to someone he never met,
    For something he never did.

    What I love about Sam McAllister is that she is a self-made woman. There are lots of voices that she makes I all about herself. Well, she should. She worked hard to get where she is.

      Unfortunately we haven’t got the proof and the girl was not underage. What I do find suspicious is that she’d accused someone else before, then retracted it (without payment) saying it was a case of mistaken identity. I’m not at all convinced and apart from all that, she was not underage

      @@Chipoo88 Yeah, you're right of course. Prince Andrew is a thoroughly decent chap who was only ever friends with really great, wholesome, trustworthy people. He had a nice job, selling British weapons to friendly and grateful dictators, which made lots and lots of money for everyone. He was always pleasant and considerate to staff, and never swore at police working to keep him safe. He likes teddy bears - lots and lots of teddy bears! That awkward and inconvenient photo with his arm around a nubile minor - well, it must have been faked. Andrew selflessly gave away twelve million pounds of his own hard-earned money - which necessitated selling his favourite ski chalet - to a troubled young woman in a foreign country whom he'd never even met, for something he so obviously couldn't possibly have done. For goodness sake, he was at Pizza Express in Woking at the time, so he must be innocent. He buys pizza for his kids and gives large sums of money to strangers for no reason. That's ordinary family values and abject generosity, is it not? The bloke is a hero. I'm now looking forward to seeing Price Andrew back on the flag-draped balcony in his favourite admiral's uniform, with his adoring, loving, caring family. Good luck Andrew. Getting back to your rightful place in the top echelon of British society should be no sweat at all.

    Has there ever been guest-booker in human history who has milked their role in booking a guest more than this woman? Meanwhile, Emily Maitlis who did all the heavy-lifting has said very little. The interview was important and the consequences for Andrew well deserved but enough already with this created self-mythologising from Sam McAlistair

    Started warching Scoop and gave up after they showed the famous photo with Rufus Sewells face added in. It was so daft. Also thought that Billie Piper is too young to play the booker and the thought of the Prime series as well, not much scoop but total overexposure.

    No Royal interview has been a positive experience for the Royal and has been highly criticized and dissected and gone over with a microscope and left to be found wanting afterwards. Even the Queen had her actions highly criticized in the past and had been met with chilly silence by her adoring countrymen.

    • @libbyworkman3459
      @libbyworkman3459 Před měsícem

      @mimsicle1. Queen Elizabeth was so insulated that she had no idea how popular princess Diana was with the public at large until her tragic death and the outpouring of grief. Queen Elizabeth finally had to be told that she needed to get out there and join her subjects in showing respect.

      I think that being the first in your family to go to university and your parents leaving school when they were 14 years old is short hand for signalling deep working class. The juxtaposition with taking down a member of the royal family is stark.

    It’s simply too much to watch someone pretend that Billie Piper playing you in a made-for-TV drama is anything other than a tragedy. If former child star Billie Piper can play you, and the BBC thinks your life is tame enough for their output, then you, my friend, are dull AF.
