The feeling of peace, loss, and the momentary release of tension experienced after completing a long arduous journey is captured well in this piece. It conveys the emotions of this scene really well. Beautifully done Osirois! :D

Something I've always loved about Respite is that it is largely the same melody as An Ending, but in an entirely new light, this one of hope, instead of desperation.
I really love the use of the harp alongside the piano, and the strings that come in bring me right back to Secrets of the Forest from Chrono Trigger. It's funny, the piano seems somewhat staccato, and an octave down, lacking any of the echo from the original song. Yet the harp fills that role, creating this interesting contrast, a feeling of wandering.
But of course, when the muted percussion hits, you know things are gonna get really good. I love how most every part save for the harp is playing the main melody now, but just offset from each, a classic call in response that fits perfectly for all of monsterkind seeing the surface. That final section is beautiful as well, I can just see the camera panning up from the monsters making their way down the mountain and to the city, while Once Upon a Time gives one last goodbye.
Oh. Oh dear, I didn't expect the nostalgia to hit me /this/ hard, I nearly choked up the moment the music started and you bet I was bawling before the video finished. What a beautiful rendition that encapsulates so much of the emotion you feel at the end of the game. Amazing work!

I had a friend at school, me and him where inseparable we where such good friends we would do everything together and lemme tell yah not so many people really liked him but I was there for him he was never alone we had known each other for like 2 years so far and every summer I couldn't wait to see him again, until the next year of school passed and... he wasn't there anymore? He never told me if he was leaving or not, I hope where ever he is he remembers me it's been 6 years so far and I bet he's already forgotten me but I swear at the bottom of my heart I won't forget him ever 😞 I had lost one of my best friends and I just don't know why maybe he went to a new school maybe he moved but I just wish we could've spent more time together

Just got this in my notifications and I have to say this absolutely splendid in terms of sound quality and fluidity. The instruments blend well and perfect at some times. This was a great orchestration, even if it didn't have any wow moments, it certaintly sounded amazing

I am sad that I only find this now, it is really relaxing and calm, I have seen a lot of Undertale fan-songs but this is one of the best I have heard so far. Wonderful work, you earned my respect, a like and I am seriously thinking about subbing too. Keep the great work up ^^
Man, if only I could erase my memory and experience Undertale again. It changed my life and even though it probably gave me the most trauma from its community (/hj), it still is one of the greatest games I've ever gone through. Ngl, this brought me close to tears (I might cry tho)

Hey Osirois! If you haven't heard the track "Journey" from the Destiny 2 OST you should check it out! It's a powerful piece and I feel like might resonate or inspire you.
They say that videogames are just filled with one mindless rule: "Kill and win." But there's more to it. Undertale is one of those games where you can choose to either be merciful, or just full on kill everybody. Sure, you may compare it to games like MGS but this one decision actually has a big impact on the story. It makes us realize that one sin always has an equivalent punishment.
Undertale is an amazing game, the fandom may be cancer but the game itself is truly amazing. Just look at the amazing artists and developers who are making great stuff out of it.

I always felt like crying when I heard this, because of the adventure and jokes,spaghetti and just the entire fun pacifist run, it was all over. It was the end.
Just hearing the beginning and I already feel that feeling when you finally complete your favourite game and there is nothing left for you to do, so you are forced to move on.

It's been years since I've played this game, and I've grown quite a bit in that time. My life does not look the same, but regardless of how much hair is on my face and how old an exterior I dawn, it all just comes rushing back. It's a testament to this wonderful game that Undertale's music continues to age better than a fine wine.

Toriel is asking if you want to stay with her. You say yes. She is touched, and takes you with her to your new home. The smell of pie fills the air. There is a knock on the door. It's Sans. He is asking if you want to hang out at his place for now. You say yes, and he says, "i know a shortcut." You arrive in seconds. Papyrus is making spaghetti. When he hears you, he comes and says, "Hello Frisk!" and guides you to a guest room. Sans has his gaster blasters resting in the room. You pet them, and realize they are asleep. He chuckles, and asks if you want to have spaghetti. You say yes, and he goes to tell Papyrus. When he comes back, he has brought a sweater that looks like yours, but blue and light blue, with gaster blasters on it. He says, "i found this. i guess i am popular here." He then puts it on. It looks great on him. You give him a mirror, and he looks at it. He asks if you want to go home. You say yes. He uses a shortcut to take you there. Toriel has finished baking the pie. It looks like you will have a good life here.

If undertale was a movie, this should be the ending scene's music and it should slowly fade into the credits. Then hopes and dreams reprise should play and a post credits scene should come after with goodnight playing under (just like in the game) but THEN there would be a twist! It the screen starts glitching and words appear on it:
"ARE YOU THERE? ARE WE CONNECTED?"
"EXCELLENT. TRULY EXCELLENT..."
"THIS STORY HAS COME TO AN END... THERE IS NOTHING LEFT IN THIS WORLD FOR YOU..."

Very beautiful. A lot of orchestral pieces sound so loud, but it doesn't always have to be fortissimo all the time. An orchestra has a lot of range of expression. This piece shows a lot of understanding of the music.
Can you do It's Raining Somewhere Else maybe? It would be great to hear your version of it.

A wizz and a flash of light catches her eyes. She looks off to the ocean, as suddenly a heavy breeze nearly knocks her off her feet, but Chi-Kei held her firm.
"What was that?!" She exclaimed as Chi-Kei squinted to try and see.
"...Akira-sama" was all she said in her monotone voice.
"I see...hes... losing. Isnt he?" The girl cast her eyes down. She knew Akira longer than anyone else in the world. How strong he was, but even more importantly, even without Elemental abilities, she could tell how hurt he was. She gripped her claymore tightly, as she watched two lights dance in the distance. This would be his final battle, for sure.
"Yes, it appears that way." Chi-Kei said letting her go.
"...I see." The girl let go of the sword hilt and looked at Chi-Kei, before giving a weak smile, "we just have to believe in our master then, huh?"
"Its all we can do now. Even if we somehow could intervene in the waters, we could never hope to stand a chance against his opponent."
"Is it the Creator?"
"No, it is Keith, but he has absorbed her powers. We can do nothing now but wait."
"I see." The girl cast her shoes off and wadded into the water, as the lights slowly sunk under the water, she couldnt help but feel pain in her chest. She never even got to say her true feelings. The cold water lapping at her thighs only reminded her of how she felt. Chi-Kei grabbed her by her arm, and pulled her out of the water before she froze. The cold early winter air chilled the girl even more. She fell to the ground sobbing as her world crumbled apart.
"Isabella-sama, it is my duty to the master to see to it that you live a long and fulfilling life."
The girl fell silent, shuddering at every word Chi-Kei uttered.
"We will be lost without our master, I'm sure. But we are free from any repression and have no ties to these lands. You have the masters talents and I am immortal. Surely you can find some respite in this sadness..."
