  • Travel to Venice by train from Mestre
Our journey to the Italian Venice began in Mestre, where we were staying. The train ride took approximately 10 minutes and was very comfortable. Trains from Venezia - Mestre to Venice - S.Lucia run almost every 5 minutes which is great. The ticket cost €1.45 per person.
Behind the scenes of Venice: A walk through the side streets
We decided to get to know the lesser-known sides of Venice. So we went down the side streets and looked into the dark corners. It was fascinating to watch the local people trying to be inconspicuous. Despite the predominance of tourists, every street was full of signs of ordinary life.
What not to do in Italy
After returning home, we found out that there are a few rules in Italy. For example, you may not consume food in public places. We realized this when we had coffee right on the steps in front of the basilica, where quite a few people were passing by. And we were lucky not to get fined.

Projížďku na gondole jsme přenechali jiným, ale atmosféru jsme si užili. Děkujeme za komentář a třeba sí to někdy užiješ na vlastní kůži taky!
