I feel like he temporarily had a silver leg at one point but not for the entire series 🤔
now lets bring up C-3PO's RED ARM lolol.
😂😂😂😂
That was C-3P0?? I must've not recognized him
What red arm? I remember his arm being blue! 😝
Not sure how you don’t have more subscribers, interesting video!
Haha thank you! Subscribe to help change that 😎
we were there -
it was the biggest
event of the year
it was silver on his lower right leg in the original
Star Wars theater release
I think Threepio's silver leg is something to do with the fact that in Attack of the Clones, C-3PO was entirely Silver. In Revenge of the sith, he appears to have 2 gold legs but in A new hope he got a silver shin. My theory is that 3PO was repainted gold but the paint scratched off before a new hope
He ALWAYS had a silver leg. People just haven't noticed it.
I knew this as a small child lol.
A bit off topic, but I subbed after watching your 3 part rise of skywolger videos
Thank you! Up next is a three part review of Return of the Jedi so stay tuned
the original VHS also his leg was silver
although the VHS 📼 editions afterwards were changed somewhat
for example -
the death star explosion scene was changed
on later editions
There is another photograph that shows an unedited raw still from Return of the Jedi, with two gold legs on the moon of Endor from 1983. They aren't in a desert in this photo, but a jungle, and C-3PO is standing in his own shadow. I'm going to conduct an experiment with this photograph to see if both experiment and photograph match the reality of what is being depicted.
sauce?
I vividly remember it : Barenstein , 2 Gold legs!! and "Luke, I am your Father"
It's Obi-Wan Kenobi pulling an old Jedi mind trick. 😂
No way. It was always gold! it has been changed recently.and it looks odd lol
incorrect; go look at 4k77 footage
Okay, I remember playing the first complete Lego star wars game. The sscene where C-3P0 is dismembered and carried on chewys back plays out. Before this C- 3 had two gold legs. When he is reassembled it becomes silver.
When I see the silver leg in the movies now it’s jarring. If it was always silver then where is the lore? Why is their decades of deafening silence from the fandom on the topic until now? NoBoDy NoTiCeD until now??? Like I said, it’s jarring when I see it now. It’s a detail that would have been noticed before and explained in length. Where is the lore?
Exactly, they had 40 odd years to explain it and it's backstory, and never once did. ONLY until 2015-16?!?
He don't have a silver leg in the Christmas special from 1978
Okay; gimme an hd version of the christmas special and not a chite 78' vhs recording... lets talk after that
What I will say is this, back in 1999 in an episode of Family Guy (season 1) there is a scene with Chewbaka, R2-D2, and C-3PO where Peter is supposed to be getting commendations and C-3PO doesn't have a different color leg.
Sus
@@TheDigitalSaloon i may be wrong, but i think its because c-3po had his leg tore off, and found a replacement
Oh woah... Did you know that family guy is a CARTOON?? AND NOT REAL LiFE???
They really put lies in textbooks and he’s buying into the Mandela effect wooo
another one, what about rugrats and chuckie's shorts? sometimes they were purple?
Elvis in home alone is that a Mandela effect 😕
I've never heard of that one haha
Why do people always think *everyone* talking about the whole dimensional merge angle are serious and not just memeing? Cuz I'm pretty sure the majority of the internet is just memeing.
Nah there are people who literally believe it's true
Come on! It was ripped off somewhere in "The empire strikes back" and then replaced by a goleden leg.
I think its not very deep i think are in Toys r Us we're just modified like you said they weren't always accurate but it wasn't some kind of weird universe merging thing it was just art and toys no big deal
never was! I always remember gold only.
You act like your memory is perfect, but I'm willing to to bet you don't even know half the stuff you think you know.. let alone the millions of things you don't even know you don't know
I never said anything about me was ''perfect''. 🙄 @@timewarpdrive77
I don't ''act like'' anything. @@timewarpdrive77
well you don't know me at all. @@timewarpdrive77
I don't need to ''act like'' anything because I'm not a fake person putting on a masked persona. 🙄 @@timewarpdrive77
I just came across a picture of Anthony Daniels suiting up as CP3O and his costume has no silver leg, no red arm.
How do I post a picture in these comments?
Spooky
Does he have gray hair? probably from the prequels or disney era
It was just one of the different copies released of the film. George's edits never made it across all copies, I've owned both versions where he has a gold leg and a silver one, George did a lot of nonsensical edits that only affected some releases.
That's actually incorrect! None of the special edition edits alter the color of C-3PO's leg.
