Must say.. How glad I am that we didn't lose John F to drugs and he was able to come back to make some incredible records. So happy to see them back together.
I was thinking that. It's still amazing that he is alive. But all the amazing music he has given the world since his recovery is just incredible.
Music saved his life🙏🏼 check out his interviews when he was literally skin, bone, and almost no jaw or teeth left. The poor kid was on the brink of death. Without his guitar, without music, we wouldn't have this amazing person today. We love you, John🙏🏼❤️

Also, let's not forget that RHCP had to bring in Keith Morris from Black Flag and Circle Jerks to stand in for a show of two, who by the way didn't even know any of their songs, to replace AK because he was off scoring drugs. Absolutely nothing wrong with scoring drugs, but you should take care of it before or after a show, not DURING it.

I have been listening to RHCP since High school in 1984...An incredible ride it's been and just keeps getting better...now my 30 year old son and my 28 year old daughter are huge fans..Generational JOY!!! and JF...sing more...your harmonies with AK are incredible!..Flea - Chad...amazing...this band is EVERYTHING combined!

He’s doing one scale hammer ons every single “solo”. It’s great that he fits in so well to the peppers songwriting progress and that he has model boy good looks and makes intense faces - but he’s easily the most overrated guitarist in history. Sorry, it’s just a fact that any professional guitarist will tell you if they analyze his playing.
This is the RHCP that I remember. John just gives them that extra mojo. Phenomenal performance and mixing.
Josh don't play 1/10 of what Frusciante plays. Not even same tier. I'm talking about creativity and melodic choices.
the lead guitar is amazing, he is literally best backup voice lead guitar in history, very good and this time the sound of recording is good so you can truly hear the quality
John rounds out the sound. Brilliant musician !

High as hell, I was fortunate to be in that crowd and lemme tell ya, this video does not do justice to how jaw dropping this performance truly was. John, flea, and Chad's chemistry is unmatched and hearing them live is an experience that'll always be unforgettable

It’s one thing to sound great on an album, It’s another thing to sound so much better live. These guys live to preform live. Among the best there have ever been.
they sound better in albums, but yes they are on par in live performance, just like wham and queen used to be, it is because they are all truly superb musicians.

This isn’t normal at all for a band to be this tight and in sync with each other and that’s particularly at this point in their careers plus their lineup changes. It’s absolutely mesmerising everytime.
I find they're really not that tight. They're not locked in here in this performance anyway. Anthony's way off time on the groove. Chad I can tell is bored with these songs as he's not quite grooving when it's important, he does a lot of needless senseless off time,mid measure open hi hats and cymbal chokes and tom stutters.and these guys are really a songs band so that groove and really being locked in is important. I just think they seem a bit sloppy here

Excellent sound quality and performance. I saw them at the Orlando stop and energy was much, much higher but sound quality was no way near this level. Love to see John putting out such quality. He is a gem. Cheers to the whole band

Yeah, they were definitely in a mellow groove last weekend but it flowed beautifully. It's like they said let's all just sort of play lazily and see if we can still make it tight and seamless. Next level stuff.

I’m a guitarist and RHCP for me requires John, but I want to call out Chad here as he gets so little credit. Guy is a beast and an anchor who’s helped keep the band together for decades. This is the four. It wouldn’t be the same if any of them were swapped. Amazing to see them back together.

Muchos cantantes icónicos contemporáneos a los red hot que son comparados con Anthony tienen esta formula Talento Natural + Esfuerzo y por la edad le tienes que sumar el paso del tiempo y el desgaste en su voz, bueno, anthony no tiene la primera, solo tiene esfuerzo (por estar con un couch vocal desde BSSM) y el deterioro del tiempo, si tu crees que cualquier persona con esfuerzo y plata puede pasar de apenas rapear (como Anthony) a cantar como Adele bueno, cosa tuya xd
