- Hey friends! The HPI 1/8th Scale Flux Subaru Impreza monster Rally Car is getting a little long deserved TLC. Today we have a few upgrade aluminium parts to install. I'll walk the uninitiated through it. Also, I saw that I had broken an Axle pin. These were heavily threadlocked in from the factory, which also glued in the axle stubs to the knuckles and bearings... OH MY!
So with a little patience and love of the hobby of course, I actually made an axle pin from an old alan wrench. Check it out!
If you read this far and are not already subbed, please go for it as it helps me grow and reach more people. I make this content for fun so no biggie either way.

Stay good and well out there! - Zábava
That broken pin was new to me, so interesting to watxh the repair. Nice 1metal upgrades
Yeah it was my first time breaking one. Also it was well thread locked in by the factory. Cheers!
Good work always fun to make your own part's
Hey thanks! Island living makes for long wait time for RC parts ;)
@@MauzyrockRC I bet it is a long wait for parts
Nope, don't know a better way of detaching the Devil's Clips!!! I like Damian's idea though! But I reckon your Allen pin will hold! Nice upgrades dude! Ready to rock and roll! Cheers! 😎👌👍
Ahh snap! I need to invent or find a tool for that lol. Thanks dude!
Good idea with the spongy things on body posts, very nice upgrades on the awesome subaru wr8,hell of a car 😀👍👍👍
Hey thanks! Yeah the foamies help with the body rattle and wear. I am hoping these upgrades won't push stresses elsewhere. Cheers
With the eclip as it was, place the Tamiya spanner over the top and push to the side. 👍🏻
AHH cool, I'll try that thanks!
Ingenious fix Mauzy! Nice edits!
👍😊
Hey thanks! Would have been several weeks here on my Island before I would see some new ones...
Un beau upgrades sa va etre solide
Ah merci! Oui maintenant c’est d’attendre pour une belle journée!
Superb video again 👍 I wish you a nice weekend and best wishes Heiko 😊
Hey thanks!!
Ah ha Mauzy, those pesky e clips! 😂😊😂 I’ve got one of those Tamiya e clip tools that came with my Scania R620 semi, but to be honest, even that tool wasn’t as effective as lining them up using a pair of long nose pliers 😊😉😊 and yep, when getting the little blighters back on, you always have one fly across the room 😂😂😂I like the pin fix using a spare hex Allen key shaft, nifty 😊😊best wishes 😊
Alas no easy solution there. Yes several flying devil clips later… Cheers mate!
pour les e clip ya plein de pinces faites pour, ou alternativement prendre un tournevis plat et le rentrer dans le trou et pousser vers l'exterieur.
Ah ok merci. Je chercherai des pinces précisément pour ça.. 👍
Tiny flat head screw driver to pop off the C-clips
I have to revisit that technique as it did not work for me previously. Thanks
Hello friend! Thank you for this video. I need your help, I have a Ford Puma WRC from Cen (yes, the one everyone is talking about) and I need to switch to aluminum parts, exactly the ones you just changed in this video. I'm not sure what those parts are called, the ones that control the steering. Can you help me find these aluminum parts for the Ford?
Thank you very much (I'm just starting in RC).

The steering assemble is what you'll need. The company is called "Hobby Details". Just look them up and look for CEN 1/10th parts
