Because it's only regional? Top bests usually compare long haul economy, so much more would be expected, like AVOD, hot towel, menu card, etc. If there is a ranking of world's best economy for flights under 90 minutes, I'd say Sun Air's getting a place among top 10. Serving ice cream for economy in such a short flight is unprecedented in the airline industry.

I also like the Avro jets. I don't know if they're still flying but my last flight on one was through Swiss International on a 45-minute trip from Germany to Switzerland. And the approach is unlike anything I've ever seen. They waited until the lassssst minute and put the plane in a gentle dive! You WILL definitely see the horizon tilt like crazy when they "nose down" towards the runway. The landing was a bit rough but seasoned flyers tell me they have to put the plane down quickly because of the Swiss Alps. The mountains create very tricky wind patterns and always test the best pilots the airline has.

Yeah this is like a relic from "the golden days of flying" with airlines like Sterling which Danes still vividly remember. So it's great to see a small airline like Sun-air still offering what people want and like about air travel.

It's called code-sharing in the airline industry. I've seen all kinds of funny things happen. Craziest flight ever was FRA-ZRH. I was booked through American Airlines. I had to go to an AA counter to get my ticket. When I got on the bus, the crew wore LUFTHANSA uniforms! By then, I thought I was on the wrong bus. They stopped in front of a plane just like this but it said Swiss International! Upon getting aboard, I couldn't resist and asked the F/A: Are we going to Zurich, Switzerland? It was the right flight. Code sharing and franchising can be confusing sometimes. LOL...

Damn, they have all that space on their A380 and skimp on the meal? Sadly, it's true since this is coming from their own customers' mouths: BA is a shadow of its former self.

They need to learn NOTHING. They know how to serve food, just choose not to. There’s a difference. They don’t get the benefits of guaranteed paid contracts, like SunAir does. Flights from Bellund are subsidized by the Danish government.
