Nice job, Dude! One of these days I'll meet you in the wild. Haha Jacob's Ladder is better than Cherry Canyon Logging Trail! 😂

I think I've been up that one, the Hamongog trails. -Not nearly as far though. Yep, I wear pants for that hike. I've only approached Lone Peak from the Salt Lake side, not past the cirque.

I’m too scared of mountains to do something like this lol

Great video! A suggestion I think could add a lot of value: It would be nice to hear what time of year and time of day you are hiking along with temperatures. You did mention time of day a couple times and that was super helpful and you mentioned that it was hot at the bottom and cooler at top, it would be awesome if you had a small thermometer or something so you could be more specific. Keep of the great work! Great editing in your video!

Thanks for the suggestion. I would talk more about the temp if it didn’t change on a day to day basis

Ha! Amazing! Dude I still need to meet you. Sad I haven't been able to make it down to Utah county for a Wednesday night run. I'll get there one of these weeks

Did some dude at the scary construction house yell at you through a bullhorn that you were trespassing? I was on the receiving end of a similar scolding a few weeks ago. 😅 I'm pretty sure the land that you're standing on when you filmed that first bit is Lehi city property, so it's open to the public from what I understand....I could be wrong about that though. 🤷‍♂It really irks me that Alpine city (or the forest service, or whoever might be responsible for this sort of thing) hasn't provide an adequate trailhead replacement for the Schoolhouse Springs trailhead which is now closed to the public. If you want to access that section of mountain and you DON'T want to do some extreme bushwhacking, your only option now is to take meandering mountain bike trails that add an extra mile each way just to reach the First Hamongog meadow! It's really frustrating. 😖
In any case, thanks for the video! It looks like you had a great hike! 🙂
