Episode 7 of X-Men '97, "Bright Eyes," formally introduced Bastion as the big bad of the season. But with the only version available being the version that came with the HasLab Sentinel, should you race to the aftermarket to get one or wait for the inevitable animated series style release?

Bastion is so getting a new figure. I just hope they give us a human head and a swappable one where he's more Sentinel-like.
I guess it's going to depend on if he has that look on the show
It's seems likely that Bastion will be included in a future X-Men '97 wave since it appears he's now going to be playing a big part in the series as a main villain. I mean X-Cutioner was in one episode for about 10 minutes and he got a figure. So it would be pretty surprising if they didn't do Bastion at some point.
Yeah I think it's a foregone conclusion, though I am curious if we will see X-Cutioner back on the show
I love his depiction on X-Men ‘97. His calm terrifying voice reminds me of Dr. Hemlock on Star Wars Bad Batch. His debut in the comics came a year or so after I stopped reading, so my knowledge of him has been more catch up in the last four or five years.
I look forward to your Nightcrawler review. I have the Caliban wave version, so I only got him for the upgraded joints, but fell in love with the new figure.

Dude is going from $80-$150.. insane. I offered $60 and someone bought him for $85
I'd be curious to see if he was this expensive before appearing on X-Men 97, or if sellers are just capitalizing on the interest. I'm sure he was still a lot since he is the only version of him, but still
@@5POAFigureReviews most definitely because of X-men 97. I had him on my watch list and he was anywhere from $35-$55 and $70 max.
You were 100% right when you said it might be best to wait on a better version even if it’s within the X-men 97 line

As someone who got the Haslab Sentinel and has this already, I am not against him getting a reissue, mostly so I can then have bastion and 2 Prime Sentinels. I genuinely don't think the Haslab Stretch Goal figures should be that exclusive forever. Like I do think Frankie Raye Nova should get a normal release.
Glad to see a review for this One eyed, one horned, flying purple people eater. I’m a little curious if I missed the Haslab Sentinel review or if this was a ramp up to that figure in its own video. Either way keep them coming!!!

I kinda stopped following comics in the 90s before Zero Tolerance hit, so I'm not big on Bastion. For Sentinel representation, I'll probably eventually get just the Toybiz BAF.
Honestly I had already stopped by then. I knew who Bastion was, but I didn't learn about the story until much later.
Animated figure will be just fine a little customizing still saves me money from ebay

I like the option of a body with fabric tugs on it like a person wearing a costume and not just a naked body with a costume sprayed on it, BUT those legs are way too far apart

I hoped once you do a review of the marvel legends secret empire captain america figure you do a comparison to him with Iron man mark III figure given how tall he is with every other Captain America he is stacked with literally man plz
Unfortunately with that one being a Walmart exclusive, I was not able to secure the pre-order. Hopefully I will be able to find one in stores, and if I do I definitely will. But I don't know if it's going to work out unfortunately because Walmart exclusives are really hard to get

In all honesty, those 2 figures were horrible tiers. Old reuse bodies with pins and out of date articulation on the female buck. Haslow could've put the effort and done a better job at making those two figs with whole new sculpted bodies. I'm sure they're going to re-release those two figs with new pinless sculpts. It's just a matter of time. Those who are thinking about purchasing those 2 original ones at secondary scalper prices should wait for the re-releases as the original ones aren't really good figs to begin with. But if you got tons of money to spend on scalper prices for the original ones, then more power to you.

I know bastion best from X-Men dimensions, a x-men fighting game for the GameCube. I didn't play it much but I remember he was in the cutscenes and you could unlock him. I don't need bastion for my collection but I do think it would be easy to make a custom if I ever did want him.
I never played the game so I didn't even know he was in it lol
