Track is amazing and staff know how run a fun day!
First time driving the car properly since the manual conversion with bad suspension and cheap tires..very boaty at the moment but very fun to drive!

What was done engine wise to make 300rwkw? Just cam and heads with the usual bolt ons? E85?
Custom grind came heads lifters light weight pulleys otr exhaust
@3:10 nice lol.. Even though commodores feel very "boaty" to drive, I like it like that. They feel more sturdy when you drive like this.
I know exactly what you mean i love throwing the weight and shifting the momentum fluiently. its like jumping on a raging bull trying to buck you off, need to know the flow of it to keep from being thrown off! 100% would reccomend coil over suspension as it will have more of that sturdier feeling plus it will be so much more predictable as its not bouncing you around every where.!
That’s because most commodores on the road have garbage struts that are worn out from people who have no clue they need fixing , and strut mounts that are garbage, you can put king springs in and nolathanes bushes as well, sounds like you have driven crap commodores by the sounds of it

amsoundofsteel moff nothing beats thrashing an 8 around a track! It was pretty cheal to i paid like $90 for a full day of racing if you dont get kicked off lol

Yea true mate about tyres and suspension and I'd say also brakes. I've found using high temperature brake fluid makes a big difference they will still end up fading but way better then standard fluid doing track Work ! where is this track ? looks abit dangerous to ride there guy like me needs sand traps lol

that's a good idea about the fluid I'll try it for sure! its in Broadford Victoria. it wouldn't phase me if the track was on the edge of a cliff haha back in the day I learnt to drive dodging poles barriers and gutters so that thought doesn't cross my mind lol.. lookin back at this my driving was pretty rough as soon as I get a computer I'll be putting vids of my track car :)

Nathan Elcoate 300rwkw 360 on NOS.. the suspension is a bit stiffer in the rear and softer at the front it was a drag car orginally until i convert it to manual because i blew the auto trans drifting :/... check out my super charged ls1 drift build teaser :)

@@jaygem_media6214 looking back at this now i think i may of popped it out of gear so i stopped sliding so i wouldn't get kicked off cause i was about to snap the next gear and light up the track up but i noticed the guy staring me down.. not sure exactly it was awhile ago but i feel like this was the case.

I've seen 1st hand what can happen being a simple mistake like the orange cone slap a group of us were at a set like this and it cost our mate his life that's why they have track days and they have drift track day's I take nothing away from your driving mate . Our mate we lost that day had raced cars bikes for a long time and 1 simple little stuff up and it all end that day both back wheels hit the grass and he couldn't save it and it dug in and over it went
