Thank you so much. I really need this channel to prepare my home for my mother to live with me. Makes me feel much less stressed.

I appreciate the hot and cold signs for people struggling to remember which is which, but we used to have coloured end-caps on taps to show this with simple red and blue coding. Also, if your plumbing is set up correctly, it shouldn't be possible for anyone to burn themselves in the bathroom - the hot water to the whole room should be tempered so that can't happen. The only places in a house that require really hot water are the kitchen and the laundry, where you need that extra heat for cleaning things that are not someone's skin.
Your handheld shower needs to be parked within reach of a person who is sitting down. Get another parking bracket for it, and place this at a good height for them. Or get a hand-held shower with a rail bracket so you can move the bracket up and down as needed. Train the rest of the household to leave the shower at a height a seated person can reach comfortably - and remember that a lot of elderly people have shoulder mobility issues, so "reach comfortably" usually means below shoulder height while seated.
