Love the attention u are giving Kawi, Kyle! We definitely ride different though. Riding technical terrain in 2nd gear and feathering the clutch is probably faster, but I keep the revs high in 1st gear on the steep/rough stuff so i never stall or loop. And now that Kawi has e-start I think it would really look good with headlight/tail light. Looking forward to more vids of this bike
Well I see why you are a fan of Tubliss, damn thats rocks rocks and some more rocks, I'm in NZ and where I ride is pretty much mud mud mud. Nice informative video as ever - keep it up!
Hi Kyle, most of the time the opportunity is only to ride alone. Wondering if you have covered this. Would you ride locally if testing/ fun etc. Cheers John Australia.
I measure from the front of the pegs in the center to the center of the grips. Make each side the same and note it. For me, its around 36". I realize there are variables that affect this but bikes are so similar that i think it gives a similar cockpit size.
In the video, could you please occasionally mention what gear you are in? Hard to judge by speed and sound. For example, around 3 minute mark when you said lots of "clutch modulation" was that in 1st or 2nd gear??
Love your vids. Wish they were longer sometimes. Maybe do a long and short version of the same vid and see how views compare. I love watching Fast Guys Slow Bikes for his long hare scramble vids.
Listening to the latest pod about the sef300. You said that you wish other mfg would make a 300 4 stroke. Kawasaki has the new klx300r and I think Honda will be offering something too. I have the klx300r, for me so far it’s what I was looking for. I would like to see you review it
Looks like reddington out here in Tucson I went on a hard Enduro trail it’s my rock and roll and chimney Rock videos I real enjoyed the ride and I didn’t make it up a couple hills just took everything out of me and my back. Thanks for my group Tucson dirt riders for there help to show me the trail but when I see this I thought of that great video can’t wait for my bike to come home lol keep up the great videos. Any chance of maybe getting a ramp for your boys and do a review bmx ramp it’s about 600 bucks though ? Lol
@@enduro-parts-aus What your not seeing is the other set of holes in the mount that only fit the lower position. You watch a video and want to tell me I am wrong. LMAO!
@@builtfordtough4499 I have to agree with you. If you draw a line from that small bolt below the sight window, you can clearly see the peg has lowered, but not moved forward.
I noticed you mentioned "balance". I'm 58, been out of riding for quite a few years and have noticed my balance is not like it was in my younger years (sucks getting old). Do you or anyone else here have any good exercises for bettering your balance. Thanks 👍
I use a Bosu ball daily to work on my balance. Also one leg squats with a weight in the opposite hand. Static balance practice on the bike for more practical training. I too have noticed lack of balance as I get older.
Steg Pegz really helped me. Im not in my 40's yet but 20 years construction give me arm pump bad, they really help that. It keeps your legs locked and pinching the frame also. Took 2 rides to get used to them and adjusted correctly, but my balance and endurance really increased. U need 2 or 3 pucks though to actually get any benefits. They arent cheap for what they are, but u can stand on the pegs all day with them
My dads been riding forever and he’s your age... He works on his balance with a revolution balance board, there’s other brands, but it’s the one he has and he’s so good at it none of our friends or his riding group are able to master it like he has... Whenever someone first tries to use it he hands them a pair of hiking poles to help us keep from falling, so I’d suggest buying a pair when you first start. Hope this helps...

Not to be rude but , I want to know what you think of the suspension, and motor , not about the rear brake placed , dose it bounce off the rocks , is it too stiff at lower speeds , did you have to turn your compression way out ?
7 minutes 45 seconds of your front fender , put a green fender on a blue bike how would you know the difference , where's the side views or the drone views , you have to put in more than a front fender if you want my thumbs up .
@@tdel8613 Yeah it's a shame. But at least they're starting to do something. And even though it's a half ass attempt, these bikes really don't need much to be great off-road. The crf250rx and kx250x are still amazing off-road machines in the terrain they're designed for
Did I miss something here? Why a 250 X and not a 300? Bike sure seemed happy the way you road it,clutch was well done and bike is unfortunately considered a fat Kaw,I would just love a released Klx450r,never been short on power for sure but not street legal without mods. I would guess the 250 X would not be a steetable bike either. Cheers!!
So jealous of your riding areas.
Got this bike in September, and so far I love everything about it.
Those 250's are the best kept secret in off-roading.

Yep, that sounds like a Kawi! Love it!
Maybe you've gotten better over the years but you look very comfortable on the bike.
Would you say there's a refinement missing from the Kawa?

I would love to see one of the new gas gas reviewed. 300 2 stroke!!🤠. Or is it just a red ktm?
Dam the view of that lake

Sounded like second gear. I ride that stuff high in the revs in 1st instead of clutching 2nd

He does some dope hare scramble videos and they are pretty interesting
Where is that? How does that kawasaki compare to the Yamaha 250fx?

I am planning on getting a sx 85 this year your boys have riden those bikes on the trails would you recommend them? (I will be riding track too)
I had a junk yz 85 and was about 180 pounds and it did trails fine
Should be called a kxf 250x
Thought I missed kawi releasing a 2T again
kawi dropped the f from their 4st line up about a year or two ago since they stopped making 2st

Nope, it's the stock motocross close ratio transmission. Same as the tank
