That mist ending really got to me when it came out
Same here, it's brutal. I think there's also an alternative ending which shows that aliens have already taken over the whole planet and all of people's efforts were useless anyway.

I watched the first Saw movie when it released in theaters with my friends.
The reveal that jigsaw was in the room the whole time shocked everyone and the theater was filled with gasps and "OH MY GOD!!"

It was cool to see everyone flip out over that excellent reveal, a loud cheer after the "gameover" line that made the movie experience so much better. It was by far one of the best theater goings I've ever had.

Frailty is an awesomely underrated film with a fantastic acting job by Bill Paxton--and McConaughey is actually not that bad in it, either. I highly recommend to watch it if you haven't already seen it.

Frailty is such a good movie. I never expected it to be as good as it is and it's just such a unique story and twist. McConnahey can really deliver when in the right movies (non rom-coms)

I think I like the fan theory for The Mist better. The random lady in the store they were held up in was right about the need of a sacrifice. As soon as David kills his son... that's the event that actually brought the end of the monsters.

I’ve watched Memento sooo many times but I never came up with the idea that Leonard is basically a serial killer, nor the Teddy is using him to take out crooks even though that is basically what happened with Dodd. Guess I’ll have to watch it again with these ideas in mind.
@@cdatlas to me the whole point of the movie are the dichotomies of its characters like Natali apparently being a good person, but ends up using Leonard; Teddy seems like a shmuck but he's actually been helping Leonard at least at the beginning. For Teddy - it has probably become very annoying to help Leonard chase random crooks just to start all over the next day/week/month. You can't get fully mad at neither one of them as they both helped Leonard and used him, but then you are the one running around "playing detective" yourself just to have a purpose and a sense of direction in your life. But yes, to just paint it as "serial killer" and Teddy just using them means you didn't really understand the complexity of the character's lives in the movie
After watching it multiple times, the best part is when he asks his wife "why read the same book even though you already know what's gonna happen??" (I dont know the exact quote on top of my head.
Not only that I've watched it many times n know the twist, its just the fact that movie goes backward in segments where you already watched the "ends" of the movie which i thought was clever
