Disneyland Paris - Cars: Road Trip (Route 66 Road Trip)

Cars: Road Trip (formerly called Cars: Route 66 Road Trip) is an attraction that opened at Walt Disney Studios Park, Disneyland Paris in June 17, 2021 along with the reopening of the rest of the entire park. The attraction is based on Disney/Pixar's Cars franchise and replaced Studio Tram Tour: Behind the Magic[1]. The ride soft-opened two days earlier on June 15, 2021.
It was originally scheduled to open in Summer 2020, but it was delayed to June 17, 2021, since the opening was postponed indefinitely following the closure of the resort, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In August 2021, following Disneyland Paris' reopening, Walt Disney Studios Park announced that the attraction was set to become part of Worlds of Pixar.
In the attraction, guests hop on board the tram, and Sally and Cruz Ramirez greet them and guide them through natural and mechanical wonders along the legendary Route 66. At first Cruz is very enthusiastic to see the whole thing, but Sally tells Cruz to relax and go slow. Then Cruz spots the World’s Biggest Lug-Nut with Lightning McQueen in it along with Guido and Luigi. Sally also tells Cruz that there are many attractions to enjoy, such as "The Ghost Garage", "The Copper Canyon Traffic Maze" and "Lonestone Magnet Mine". The tram then approaches the Car-tastrophe Canyon where a Dinoco Tanker Truck can been seen. Suddenly, the Canyon catches on fire and water sprays everywhere (similar to the former scene of the Catastrophe Canyon). Luckily, the tanker truck survives. Afterwards, Sally is reminded that Mater has been making his own art: a statue of him with McQueen and Doc Hudson made out of junk, The Great Whitewall of China and The Statue of Lizzie-ty. The tram passes Mater making a model of the Eiffel Tower, with Filmore very interested in Mater's masterpiece. As the tram arrives at the end of the ride, Cruz and Sally say goodbye to the riders and tell them to see the Route out there. Once the tram stops and the ride ends, guests make their departure.
Cars : Road Trip (anciennement appelé Cars : Route 66 Road Trip) est une attraction qui a ouvert ses portes au Parc Walt Disney Studios, Disneyland Paris le 17 juin 2021 en même temps que la réouverture du reste de l'ensemble du parc. L'attraction est basée sur la franchise Disney/Pixar's Cars et a remplacé Studio Tram Tour : Behind the Magic[1]. Le manège a ouvert ses portes deux jours plus tôt, le 15 juin 2021.
Son ouverture était initialement prévue pour l'été 2020, mais elle a été reportée au 17 juin 2021, l'ouverture ayant été reportée sine die suite à la fermeture de la station, en raison de la pandémie de COVID-19. En août 2021, suite à la réouverture de Disneyland Paris, le Parc Walt Disney Studios a annoncé que l'attraction allait intégrer les Mondes de Pixar.
Dans l'attraction, les invités montent à bord du tramway, et Sally et Cruz Ramirez les accueillent et les guident à travers les merveilles naturelles et mécaniques le long de la légendaire Route 66. Au début, Cruz est très enthousiaste à l'idée de tout voir, mais Sally dit à Cruz de se détendre. et allez-y doucement. Ensuite, Cruz aperçoit le plus gros écrou de roue du monde avec Lightning McQueen, Guido et Luigi. Sally dit également à Cruz qu'il existe de nombreuses attractions à apprécier, telles que "The Ghost Garage", "The Copper Canyon Traffic Maze" et "Lonestone Magnet Mine". Le tramway s'approche ensuite du Car-tastrophe Canyon où l'on peut apercevoir un camion-citerne Dinoco. Soudain, le Canyon prend feu et de l'eau jaillit partout (semblable à l'ancienne scène du Catastrophe Canyon). Heureusement, le camion-citerne survit. Ensuite, on rappelle à Sally que Mater a créé son propre art : une statue de lui avec McQueen et Doc Hudson faite de ferraille, le Grand Mur Blanc de Chine et la Statue de Lizzie-ty. Le tramway passe devant Mater en train de fabriquer une maquette de la Tour Eiffel, Filmore étant très intéressé par le chef-d'œuvre de Mater. Alors que le tramway arrive à la fin du trajet, Cruz et Sally disent au revoir aux passagers et leur disent de voir la route là-bas. Une fois le tramway arrêté et le trajet terminé, les clients partent.
