This is the First in a series of video's that will allow anyone who has been thinking about reading the Bible but just can't get around to it I've got a solution for you.
Let me read it for you while your relaxing your mind from a hard days work. Just sit back in a comfortable chair and just spend 15 minutes with me as we both will become time travelers.
We'll go back in time and observe together all the stories we've heard about were going to actually go their and see for ourselves the events that we've heard about all our lives.
We will be observers together and you won't be getting preached at because I'm not a preacher and I don't have any ministry degrees . I won't be putting any pressure on you to do anything because I'm in the same boat with you.
Our base course curriculum will be using the book called THE COMPLETE IDIOT'S GUIDE' TO THE BIBLE. It will cover all the main subjects that all the different denominations waste so much time and energy debating how they are right and everyone else is wrong.
They don't have time to really listen to what the Bible is saying cause there too focused on being right all the time. I have a few hobby's I love playing Internet Poker at a $.05/$.10 which doesn't place me at any financial risk against my living expenses. Anything can become an addiction as its a matter of choice.
In this world its a must to be under the protection of the Almighty and with a solid relationship with him you will live a balanced life in all that you do. I love reading the Bible , enjoying cooking, I work out in a Gym 3 times per week. I enjoy working with my plant collection.
I would play the stock market but I don't have the funds that it would require to play and I can't afford the risk of losing that kind of money. Many aren't aware of the risk involved in the stock market which it clearly states in the fine print on TV Commercials.
The religious community comes down hard on me for playing affordable low limit poker while at the same time they play the stock market with a clear conscious. So just because I play low limit poker doesn't make studying the Bible off limits for me.
Because poker is a mathematical game its challenging and helps to keep my mind sharp. As we study the Bible we will come across men of God that don't measure up to the Churches standards but they accept them for being human and even with these men who fall below the Churches standards they make exceptions for them because God uses men who aren't perfect.
So I'm letting you know that I'm not perfect but I'm at a place in my life at the age of 70 years old where I remember in my youth under 10 years old trusting Christ as my Savior and being baptized in a river near our church.
I was hungry to know more of God during my teenage years and learning Bible history. After returning from Vietnam I lost the desire to know God and what happen between him and man. But I have now reached a place in my life where I want to go back to the experience I had with God of my youth. I begin again and take the Bible study from the very beginning and read about the journey that started back in Garden and just enjoy it on a day by day experience and see how far I get with what time I have left on this Earth.
So Who will come and go with me are more than welcomed to come along. I'm going to take my time and not be in a hurry and will draw from the books in my Library.
Because of how much I've forgotten or never learned in the first place I will be using THE COMPLETE IDIOT'S GUIDE TO THE BIBLE as my outline study format. Along with the Bible itself and several other good authors which I will make reference to as we move along in our studies. Maximum study video time is 15 minutes
