Get an Easter basket and pop those bunnies in there. Get some jelly beans and either put in a bowl near the basket or just put some in tiny bags with a sign Jelly Bean bunnies.... The candy will draw attention to the name of the bunnies!
I second this!
That is a good idea! I think I will.
At yesterday’s market I put the bunnies in a basket and had a sign that said jellybean bunnies (no candy) but they got a lot of attention and if I remember right sold 5. Thanks for the suggestion!!
@@KnottingHookCrochet You're welcome! That's great, glad to hear that!!
I love that big dragon. Glad your market went so well.
Thanks Theresa!!🥰
I do mostly outdoor markets. I love the grid walls with the hanging baskets. I have 2 tables and 2 grid walls. Works great.
I would love to see a photo of your set up. It sounds nice!
Your channel recently popped up on my suggestions, I've been binge watching while I prep for upcoming markets, I'm loving your channel and all your makes. The jelly bean bunnies are adorable but what I've learned with markets is that what we think will do well, doesn't 😆 and what we are unsure of, does well. One sells great at one market might not sell at all in the next one. It's a hit or miss, or like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're going to get 😂
You are so right! 😂
Your display looks amazing and your attention to detail really shows!
Thank you Becky! 🥰
You did awesome for a last minute market. For sure teens would like them, heck my 16 yer old daughter had me make her a pink Dino and her friend got a gray one! Bring on high school markets! Glad John was there to lend a hand, and he had cars he could go look at! I’m so happy you did that well. On to the next one!! ❤️🦋
Right!! Any school market!! As soon as we got home John was on FB market place and Craigs list looking at the prices of old cars 🤭 Like he thinks I'll let him buy another yard gnome! 🤣🤣🤣
@@KnottingHookCrochet … My brother is an expert Corvette restorer, as well as other cars, especially muscle cars. He just sold his business in Rhode Island. He has a shop down in Punta Gorda, my nephew runs it. He’s won tons of awards and car shows. If you are ever in Punta Gorda, look up Lav’s Muscle Car Workshop!
Congrats on your successful market ❤ most people don't realize how much work it is to do markets because they don't see the setup and tear down process.(and all the work to get there)
I love outside markets....if the weather is perfect 🥰 Thanks for sharing!!
Most of the day the wind was fine, it was the last hour and it really wasn't a lot but it would send those bees flying 😂 It was so cute watching the teens trying to figure out their finances then picking what they could afford.
Funny how various markets have different biggest sellers. I was surprised Patrick didn’t go, nor the Minions. Your table looked so nice, with lots of variety.
Thanks!🥰 Patrick, got a lot of attention. A slightly older crowd and I think I would have sold out.
I like your music. Great market.
I love the way you set everything up! Really shows off the hard work you put into each item :)
Thank you so much!
Liked your display and just love all your work… I have tried a few but my critters are just not that good yet… we had large items (porch swings and gliders).. I did enjoy meeting all people… the snakes are cute, good work ❤️🌻
You'll get there.
Glad it went well. It looks so god set up. I totally understand about things blowing off. My first one this year is next Saturday. Luckily indoors
Thank you!! Good luck at your market!!
I understand how different things get sold according to the different places you go. I would make small items in general, cartoon and movie themed for children, video games themed for teenagers and young adults. For the adults I would make the medium to large items, like cute looking animals and dolls.
definitely the smalls!!
Congratulations! You did great! I love your displays and everything looks so bright and adorable. I hope you're having fun at the markets. I sure wish I lived close enough to come see your stuff. Your work is so good! Thanks for sharing the deets!
Thank you so much! For the most part I am enjoying it. It's hard work 😂
Congratulations on a successful market, Robin!!! 😊💕
Thank you so much!!
You did great! Maybe the high school mascot is a stingray. TYFS 😊
Thanks!! I checked because someone else suggested that too and it's a Knight.
I used my spare money in high school to buy action figures - I definitely would have bought plushies if we had a market like this! 🧡
Not me 🤣I was tight with my money! I saved every penny, unless I was buying clothes. And I was good at it until I got my first car. 🤣🤣
@@KnottingHookCrochet Ah! Dad bought us each our first car and let us know it would be ugly. He said it was for all the farm work we did, but I think it was so he could send us into town so he didn't have to go 🤣
@@KnottingHookCrochet I'm really glad you sold items that have been hanging around for awhile 😊
@@AntisocialAuntie Guilty!! I do that with Jenna sometimes 😂😂
@@AntisocialAuntie Yes!! I was too. It was making it hard to decide what to take with me 😂😂
I can't believe Clifford hasn't sold to any parents yet, I'd buy him. Clifford was one of my favorites as a child. It's so interesting to see what people are interested in in each market! It seems like each one has different best sellers.
He's only been at 2 markets, the first one it rained all day, he will go when the right person comes along. it is interesting how every market is different with what sells.
Hi! I am new to crochet! All your items are so pretty! I like to be able to make all that one day :)
Thank you 😊 you will just keep practicing you’ll get there!
Ok so I was thinking…. The jelly bean bunny is adorable but i think the sitting style that it is maybe not be appealing to the audience your targeting. I would suggest trying the leggy bunny 🐰 you could also display a couple of ideas for buyers.
Your hunny is a trooper for supporting you in the craft market ❤😂
you're probably right. I'm going to try and display them in an easter basket with a sign that says jellybean bunny.
Awesome display!! I definitely would not be thrilled watching my stuff blowing off the shelves and such. I have yet to do a market but I've been following your journey... I'm in my sixties, have basically sold handmade soaps and now making plushies at an ex employers store but have wanted to try and do a market. Maybe I will stick to trying out an indoor market near the holidays. Haven't ventured into getting a square either but that is my next step. Love your channel!
I only have this one outdoors market to go buy. But I like the indoors markets best so far. Look for a fall market I'm told they are a lot better than spring markets.
Looks like a great day! I wish it was warm here 😅
It will warm up soon. It was for the most part a great day!!
I mostly do outdoor markets. Always take the sides as it will stop the wind from blowing everything all over.
You're right, I won't leave them at home again 😂
@@KnottingHookCrochet 🤣🤣🤣
I love your videos
Thanks Ivy!
Glad you got the stuff sold. Really want to know about a pattern for the cow with flower in her mouth.
I think maybe you asked me before, if it was you I apologize I went to get the link then I couldn't find the message to reply. Here is the link to that cow www.etsy.com/listing/1222934735
Congrats on a successful market 🎉 I can relate with you on the outdoor part I’ve done so many with the tent holding down, signs blowing off, chasing merchandise 🤦♀️ not fun in spring 😅
Thanks Nancy! LOL no chasing just picking up thank goodness. I'm glad we weren't set up in the dirt!
@@KnottingHookCrochet lol no dirt thank goodness 😅
Oh I would have had a blast at that car show! Mustangs and Novas are my favorite muscle car 💜💜 also, I thought I was subscribed, so I just did it (again?)
Thanks for the sub! I didn't get to go and look at the cars (walking through) But John had a blast.
@@KnottingHookCrochet that's good! I would have been jealous of him getting to see them! Lol
I love outdoor markets, that’s all I do. It’s funny how markets vary. However, no matter how many I make I never bring home a single opossum or emotional support pickle.
I hear everyone say how well opossums do for them, it's just weird how it works out. Being outside was nice except my bees taking flight 🤣
I love your set up, it looks so pretty. I still struggle with that part lol
Do you have a pattern for the frog in the flower? That is so friggin adorable 😍
Thanks!! I think we will always struggle with the set ups 😂. The pattern link www.etsy.com/listing/1669932620/
I have been binge watching your channel while market prepping haha. Where did you get the little white baskets that you had your scrunchies and froggies in? They are adorable!!!
Walmart in the storage solutions center.
Adorable floppy ear bunny was sold!
Was the mascot of the high school Stingrays?
I saw floppy ear bunny at the beginning of the video and not at the end -- could that be the $12 item you missed recording?
Nope, I just checked it is a Knight.
No, it's on my list. Did I miss saying it? She sold for $18
@@KnottingHookCrochet Interesting. Maybe the two teenage girls who bought the first stingrays are trend setters? Other girls saw their stuffies and decided they wanted one too
I love the bunnies! I'm surprised that didn't sell along with your unicorn!
They will when the right person comes along (I hope) Which unicorn?
@@KnottingHookCrochet The one I saw panned in the video with the pink and purple curls I believe. I guess you're right! My daughter would've had me snatch up all of your unicorns lol!
Just wanted to comment on your weather as I watch snowflakes fall outside my window tonight 🥶😭
I'm a little jealous, we have no real season change here.
@@KnottingHookCrochet it ended up being a few inches of snow! But since it's Seattle, and weather can't make up it's mind, the sun is out and a lot is melted already. Made a really pretty morning though
Congratulations! Sounded like you did pretty good. It does take quite a bit of work setting up and taking down. Not my favorite part.
I think so too! taking it all down goes so much faster than setting it all up 🤣 Real time it was 17 mins.
Can you share the stingray pattern please?
Theresas crochet shop she has a video here on you tube or you can purchase the written pattern on Etsy.
Wish the prices were listed
Giving the prices is not worth the trouble it causes
Can you share the minion pattern please?
There isn’t a written pattern these I just freehand
@@KnottingHookCrochet well it’s awesome!
