Really enjoyed this discussion, thanks for inviting Hunter! In Finland for more than 20 years I started gym training, my gym had Mister O VHS videos that you can borrow at home. I still remember when I saw Lee's wonderful performance on one of those tapes, and Hunter as a very small child in the audience 🙂

When I see the new photos of Hunter it makes me happy because he is literally a living example of pushing to the limit to win. He has the money, he has his father's support, he has the genetics, in short, he has everything in his hands. All he has to do is train to the limit and let the results speak for themselves. As a great Puerto Rican hero would say 🇵🇷 "who is afraid of dying that he will not be born.".

Yeah man, they were right about choppin it up with Jay and Matt. I'll never forget my first Arnold for a lot of reasons, but i spent a few minutes chatting with these guys in the lobby of the hotel (i ran down to grab a protein drink and was like yo, it's Jay Cutler), and they were extremely gracious with their time and attention. Jay and Matt fan for life. 💪🏾

Ok, ok...I know who I'm rooting for now... Gee weez, how can you not love this guy? To see him so humble, so cheerful, so respectful and admiring of his dad, it would be really touching to see Lee Labrada's son win the Olympia. His dad is one of the most beloved bodybuilders in the history of this sport. I can barely imagine how proud Lee must be of his precious son.

Great podcast always. I'm excited to see Hunter on stage his best to date. Blessed to be a part of his journey. It's mind blowing to see how big and lean he is even before they took things out of first gear. Hunter has an amazing team around him, family, friends, and Ben is just an amazing coach / the relationship they've built is what keeps the glue together

Hunter is a solid dude. Remember seeing him and Sergio way back when they were teens being featured in Muscle &Fitness as sons of the Greats. I would never have imagine that both would grow to be what they are now. Awesome really. As far as this year for him, really feel like its make or break. He has all the size, body-parts and shape---just needs to get that peak on point with the fulness and not fade throughout judging. Like Samson, I think the key to getting there is really getting down to suffering hard enough to get there. Best of luck to him !

01:05:54 IF Labrada Nutrition is sold I suggest anyone who likes their products scoop up as much as you can afford. I have been in the supplement business sine 1999. One thing you can count on is anytime a big publicly traded company purchases a successful privately owned supplement company they will do their best to RUN IT INTO THE GROUND. A bunch of suits who ONLY care about quarterly earnings reports will see NO difference between whey isolate and concentrate other than one will allow them an extra half percent profit per unit. See EAS and MetRx for two examples. Once the original owners, the ones who put the time, effort and PASSION into the company are gone they are never the same. I hope I am wrong, but I doubt it.
To be clear: I DO NOT fault anyone for selling that which they built, it is 100% their right to do so, I just detest the way non-supplement companies run supplement companies they buy from the original owners/founders. Looking at you glanbia!!!!
