Dude you are a lifesaver. I had my road test today and everything was fine until the instructor asked to check front brake light. Pulled the brake, nothing. Engaged the rear and it works but the front isn't (even tho it was earlier that day). Instructor said I'll give you 10 Min to fix the issue or the test is forfeit and I throw $150 down the drain . You're video came up first and once I checked, I saw the female connector was completely disconnected from the male. Reconnected it and viola! It works.
Thank god for your video man!
grate . enjoy .
This fixed my problem on my Kawasaki Zx-6r. Thank you!!!!!!
Thanks man it worked
Worked :)
I fucking love you.
Hey man my front headlight isn't working and the tail light isnt as well switched out the relay and still nothing so you think it's all one? 2007 hyosung 650 s any info will help.
check fuses , test the lightbulb , check for broken wires .and currosion on all connectors . and fuse boxes
wd40 contact cleaner and sandpaper can remove green copper currosion .
you can also replate bad connector pins using soldering iron and solder wire. after tey are clean ..
@@MechanicsDIY thanks for the info.
Hi, was the fault just with the front brake signal, in other words did the brake light work when using the rear brake? My brake light flickers which suggests a faulty connecting but does so with both the front and rear brakes, so I'm guessing it may not be the same area which is at fault for me?
its best to replace the lightbulb first , then test for
bad connection or a half loosen wire / half dead relay / switch . fuses box for currosion , clean all of them and insert back .
Hello bro backlight is burning not breaking problem please any solution
What is the cleaner called that you are using?
contact cleaner / electronics pcb cleaner
My front is fine but the rear is not working? Would you happen to know the reason?
fuse / lamp replacement
It worked with my bike but the cable keeps slipping off and there is no place to put some tape. What can I do?
using pliers . gently press the female connector 1-2 mm
this will increase the clamping force
if it's too tight use a flat head screwdrver to widen the connector .
if the connector is not as good .
you can still use a soldering iron to secure it .
The both of mine arnt working when i press the brake the bulb is light but not the brake light for front or rear brake leavers what could be the problem
yes - the description match the issue and repair in the video
You are a phonetic speller.....interesting. I have the same light problem I hope this works for me.
phonetic spelling is auto-generated using some /compression / editing software
my brake light works still no issues since then , good luck

this irritates me.. both sensors are working and the rear light still doesn't work.. ive bought new sensors and still the same problem... is there a brake relay that can be the cause of the sensor issue?
yes there are many relays
for the duke
under the plastic in the seat key section
and more all over
use the service manual for diagram

they can go bad
but
first test the lightbulb with 12v battery
see if its burnt or not
I have the same problem on my cbf the brakes work bulb is light up but not wen useing the brakes
Nope, it didn't work. I'll have to look for some other problem, maybe the switch itself.
fuses or rear light-bulb
