    Instead of using microfibre towel to remove the contaminants, consider using the Iron X Snow Soap (1:8 dilution) as the contact wash over the Iron X and leave it for a few minutes, essentially extending the dwell time, then rinse the snow soap.

      @jagayong9333 - First thanks for watching! It’s a good suggestion however, in certain scenarios mechanical action removes more contaminants than chemical action alone. Using a microfibre to remove embedded contaminants such as ferrous contamination is one of those scenarios. However, using a pressure washer rather than a hose would also assist! Hope this helps. First.
    I bought the LS version and yes, it stinks and I cannot smell lemon at all. But, it does the job.

    Now how would these compare to autoglyms Magma? Gearing up to coat my ppf on my challenger, I know the smells
    Going to be just oh dear but just curious

      @BMan100 - Firstly thanks for watching! ‘Oh dear’ indeed. LOL. Unfortunately it’s just the nature of the beast! Any good De-Ironing products use the same active ingredients and they all ‘stink’ regardless of brand. If you’ve not already done so check out the rest of the channel & subscribe 👍🏽🚗💯

      @BMan100 - We feel your pain. Most of Europe is on fire - yet here in the UK it’s moderate but wet. It’s been raining on and off for weeks. Detailers nightmare! Good luck with your coating project 👍🏽🙏🏽🚗💯

    If i want to remove 100% of iron on the panels, do i keep on applying iron x many times until it all goes away? what will be a quicker way to remove those iron on the car? I dont know if applying iron x on microfibre then on panel if it is more effective? how many times did it take you to remove them 100%?

    • @VProjectUKDetailing
      @VProjectUKDetailing  Před rokem +1

      R.K - Firstly thanks for watching! Great question - have you heard of a term called “Over Detailing”? Unfortunately your question would fall into that category. In the vast majority of cases one application of a professional iron removal product would remove enough embedded iron contamination to allow a protection product to bond sufficiently to the intended vehicle surface! If you insist - then maybe one more hit but certainly no more! Not only is it a waste of time but also a waste of product & money! Apply, allow to work, wipe with a damp microfibre cloth & rinse! Job done! If you’ve not already done so please check out the rest of the channel and subscribe! Thanks 👍🏽🙏🏽🚗

      @@VProjectUKDetailing interesting.
      So if someone were to apply it many times could it oxidise or damage the clearcoat in anyway?
      Some people recommend no more than twice per year decon but not sure why they would say that, is it because it's harmful to the paint or because of waste of product?

    • @VProjectUKDetailing
      @VProjectUKDetailing  Před rokem +2

      R.K - Over application is generally safe but it’s just a waste of time, product & money! Most important thing is not to apply in direct sunlight and/or let it dry! You apply twice a year only when decontaminating prior to applying your protection product of choice! or only apply if you are decontaminating prior to applying protection whatever timescale that is 👍🏽🙏🏽🚘

    I have a pretty deep rust on my car roof. which one would you recommend?

    • @VProjectUKDetailing
      @VProjectUKDetailing  Před 3 lety +1

      Eric Seto - Iron-X is not a rust treatment product! Depending on your country you need to find a rust treatment product such as ‘KuRust’, or have the rust professionally treated and removed. • @VProjectUKDetailing
      @VProjectUKDetailing  Před rokem +1

      @frankr2921 - Firstly thanks for watching. TBH the ‘Cherry’ & ‘Lemon’ scent make little difference! They absolutely pong! But that’s just the nature of ammonia based products! Bless CarPro for trying though … if you’ve not already done so please check out the rest of the channel & subscribe! Thanks 👍🏽🙏🏽🚗
