Learn how to build your first Sorcerer on D&D Beyond with this new player guide!
Sorcerers carry a magical birthright conferred upon them by an exotic bloodline, some otherworldly influence, or exposure to unknown cosmic forces. One can’t study sorcery as one learns a language, any more than one can learn to live a legendary life. No one chooses sorcery; the power chooses the sorcerer.

The clicking all the classes animation during class selection was cute.

What's your favorite Sorcerer subclass? And more importantly, why?

I've been considering a sorcerer as my next character. I'll probably go Silver Dragon or Storm Sorcerer if we're playing Forgotten Realms or Lunar if we're trying Dragonlance.

8:48 "There are very few things a Fireball can't solve" JoCat (or rather, JoCrap) would agree, but Zee Bashew (or rather, the gnome wizard Bashew) would not

Did we finally fix the issue in D&D Beyond where we cannot trade out spells from other schools with features like the 1st level Aberrant Mind feature Psionic Spells, or the Divine Soul feature Divine Magic? Its the main reason I cannot play one within D&DB, until we gain access to a more comprehensive spell list modification feature

    hi dnd beyond team,
i have a question that burns into me for a long time:
what do you think about lock multiclassing to allow duoclass (maybe tripple as some very few races) at most and cap the lvl progression of multiclasses at 12 (dont nail me on that number pls!)? the idea is to help core classes to feel unique and special even in mid- or lategame (i mean you can put cool stuff after that cap) and multiclasses still combine two cool options, have a choice how to splitt the class but also cant abuse the muliclass system by just dippin or be an abomination of everything.
thanks and have a nice day :D

It seems very easy to homebrew a rule that prevents multi-classing beyond a certain level without specific software support.

some like to play them, i can ask the same question about sport why do people love watching guys throwing a ball through a hoop, why does some like to watch people kicking a ball in a square iron box with nets.
