- I do various tests to help determine the best engineering march in Rise of Kingdoms, is it the same as we previously thought?? Who would you prefer to invest in?

For everyone else in rok, as long as your siege is faster than ZL Hermann its fast enough
I hope you all found this useful, which single pairing would you choose after watching the test results?
I feel Gajah Cordoba survives very well doing a great deal of damage and sustaining troops extremely well however Margaret Cordoba cannot be ruled out with their fast march speed and high damage output….
So, I have all 4 unlocked, and will all be 5511 before my next kvk. I an currently running C/G and M/B, as symmetry with skill sets, and I like the C/G damage output with smite focus. However, I really like M/C as it was what I used for part of last KVK. Thanks for all the testing. Good food for thought.
Margareth/Cordoba in Siege of Orleans, with horn of Fury, 1st auxiliary skill from Genkhis Khan, 2nd Auxiliary skill from Tomoe Gozen absolutely WRECKS enemies
seriously I'm talking about 1 skill cycle each 6 turns, it's absolutely insane!!
But you dont get the extra cav march speed turned into siege speed right??
@@zkx2417 no no, only the 100 rage reduction, and from Tomoe Gozen only the +20rage per arrow, not the +15% skill dmg
it's just a strategy pull out your skill cycle afap
after the first cycle pops out, her Rejuvenate gives a free +150 rage so after that the party begins

Dipping my toes into the engineering waters. I've got all 4 commanders, thanks to some luck, but prioritizing their development is where im at. This looks like a great primer to development according to personal/alliance fighting style and goals. GM seems like the key to more locks if you're just starting, and then the choice becomes Cordoba or Babur for play style.

It really does depend on the situation if you have all 4. I use G/C and M/B generally for a balance of damage and sustain. If I'm going for risky plays I use G/B and M/C as a tank and spank combo. Duels is G/B, and Altar is M/C. If I need heals for whatever reason it's G/M. If I get a wild hair for a siege rally, I do have C/B talented and arch formation augmented for that specific purpose.

I did manage to max Gonzalo but as a f2p, i have no gold heads left. But i have a max seondeok who has 30 percent def / health for seige units. How will she do as secondary till i bring gaja up to 5511?? Can you compare a test?
I just watched the video twice and didn’t see any Margret/Babur. I would think the original release pairs would do well because of the matching damage type when running two siege marches.
What if you use your legendary set and your gathering set and use 2 siege marches against 2 other META marches?

What is about Cordoba and Babur? Also, could you try a 4 Tower Setup? For example with a Cordoba and Caesar, Margarete and Mehmed, etc
If your Babur was 5551, GM 5111, Margret 2111 how would you pair up? I have the Sharpshooter armament as well.

Hi mr siege what the minimum skill to bring GM/ CORDOBA
Minimum is always 5511/5511 but for gm you have to take his third skill to 5 for the mighty heal and to last longer. For cordoba you could start at just 5511. If ur not working on other marches then expertised cordoba would work best

For duels yea. But if u had to choose between margaret or babur you would take margaret for her bonus norm damage that boosts smite damage active skill for cordoba

Why didn’t you test GM primary with Margaret secondary?
Margaret is always better as primary especially if shes with any of the two smite commanders. She boosts normal damage by 50% which insanely increases all their active skills so her secondary u wobt benefit much
@@zkx2417 That’s partially incorrect. Her active skill only works for three turns so when you put her as a primary her 50% boost to smite damage only takes effect on the first second of the secondary commanders skill. This means she’s better as the primary on Cordoba since his skill is a single attack. Using her as a primary for GM you only get the 50% boost on one second of GM’s five seconds of smite damage. If you put GM as the primary for Margaret you get two turns with a 10% boost (Only including GM’s active skill) and then the remaining three seconds of his smite damage receive a 50% boost from Margaret.
Margaret is the better primary when used with Cordoba but is better placed as a secondary when in combination with GM.
I just wonder how well they perform. It seems strange to test all combinations except this one.

I don’t have any willing test subjects but I’ve just tried it now of lvl 46 barbarians and it seems much the same for results in that Margaret killed the barbarian marches a few seconds sooner however GM had more troops remaining afterwards. I’d be intrigued to see how GM Margaret does in PvP though. I’ll test it soon.

No I noticed and took them off lol, either way none of her armaments actually increase march speed but like I say I did actually end up removing anyway
