Totally agree. Great leaderships look far and beyond just KP when recruiting players. Some players who have never experienced the game at a leadership/officer level underestimate the amount of work put in that adds tremendous value to the kingdom that isn't necessarily displayed in data form. If the developers add more detail to how and when KP is acquired such as off season kills, duels, zeroing, etc it would certainly give more definition to a player. Other factors besides KP really depends on how leaderships monitor players and somehow display the work in data form.

Last KvK our KL opening time was a little awkward, and I was pretty much the only one from our leadership to be available. The fight was short, only 4 hours, but those 4 hours I had to do everything. Hold R5, do king skills, set markers, organise and manage rallies and garrisons, get the door, as well as building flags and coordinating with allies on Discord. As a result I barely got 10M KP, but spent 12k gems on king skills.
The next day another R5 dared to give me a blue Lost Temple gift, and it took less than an hour for several KP goblins to come out of their holes and start seriously complaining why they didn't get an LT gift even though they had achieved higher KP.
Long story short, most players do not have the slightest sense for the kind of value you're talking about in this video. It's the main reason why I'm going to leave my kingdom after this KvK and hope to find a place where I can be a regular member without all those responsibilities. 😂
Yeah for sure. Doing all of those things take away from your ability to fight on the field
KP chasing becomes a problem when it turns into a kingdom mentality. Then it becomes a huge distraction as people try to compete against each other. They waste their energy chasing and then don't have that energy during the important fights.
I think competition can be a positive. What’s important is you have smart players that understand the big picture and how kp fits into that big picture.
good player is - be where u are needed - don't care about the trade as long as towards the objective
99% of the time, not caring about the trade just makes you a bad player.
sure, if your'e not limited by rss or speedups at all, go nuts, but the amount of people who just run it down in the first combat zone and they have nothing later is extremely high and they just dont know what theyre doing.
It’s not the fault of players but leadership they want big KP players, in order to go for better kingdoms people always chase KP specifically if they don’t have future plans in the kvk.
i hope i get to 1bill kp on kvk3 to be relevant

I think you mistook some names of players description. What you call kp chaser (we all are in this game, or should be) is actually and for a long time called Lone Wolf player. Someone that try to play alone, run 5 fast marches always far from action looking for easy kills but no help the KD at all.
2268 snagged fat amount of KP couldn’t get the W, it indicates fighting for objectives vs fighting for KP, the other kd managed to won the kvk even after bad trades shows the commitment not quick burst.

LOL this is what my KD leadership is doing - They were called out during KvK when pass 7 opened and the whole COALITION were calling them to stop fighting where it's not necasary. Guess what did they do - they still fighting there after 30+ days of KVK and they think they are good. They are even rewarding themselves with kingdom chests every week, while i get nothing in return for fighting for objectives. Kingdom is #1278 so beware!
Thank you on your educational video - i got 15MIL pts this kvk till day 16 with almost full T4 units only easily against their T5!
hiding in the back certainly doesnt get you the most kp.
the fastest way to gain kp is just to run it down in the field and keep sending.
it's highly inefficient on rss but it's how and why the big whales that buy a ton of rss get their high kp numbers because they dont care about rss at all.
tbh i disagree pretty heavily with this video. sure, people absolutely need to be following markers, being in locations that are the most important ect, but killing the enemy is the literal objective.
at the end of the day, the vast majority of kvks are determined by rss, troop, and speedup limitations and going around running all the smaller players out of rss and speedups when they are out of position achieves winning the rss war MUCH more effectively than slamming into whales that probably bought 50bil rss for the kvk and have endless speedups does.
once the rank and file players are knocked out, the whales cease to matter and the fight is won. you win by going around whales, not through them.
I’m actually not sure what you think I said in the video. The things you are bringing up are not in conflict with what I said.
Reducing the RSS and speedups of a player who is unlikely to show up for important fights does almost nothing to help your win condition. And when you're engaging in pointless fights, a good portion of the enemies are going to be players like that.

Nah. Plenty of players that aren’t neglecting what they should be doing to chase KP.
KP is just a picture of how many friendly duels, arranged duels, MGE event chasing, Home Kingdom cleaning, zeroing dead accounts for matchup weight etc etc etc.
1/4 of your KP total is probably the actual work you did in LK that was honest fighting and not achievement chasing.
I’d flip it. About 1/4 of my kp this kvk was from meaningless fighting not involving an objective

@@68BusdriverThe issue hes talking about tends to be much more prevalent in lower seed kingdoms. There a some large number of players who barely make the kvk requirements, and actually their KP increases more during the off-season than during kvk from those things like duelling and cleaning deadweight cities. They will try and flaunt their KP but there are an awful lot of players who that 1/4 rule applies to, well, between 1/4 and 1/2.
As a general rule its easy to tell these players when their T4 KP score is much higher than their T5 KP score.
Finally someone who really understand real meaning of kp i seen 2268 farm feed millions upon millions of kp druing lots of MGEs cause of there rogues. And bus here wants to talk to the king about your kp cause someone wants to go to 68 give me a break the way i see it they should be happy if someone wants to go to a kingdom that doesnt win.
