I wish, more People would admire the Irish Whistles. I have large Respect for Musicians, who are able to get that Ancient Feeling in playing the Style of native Flutes. I'm practising the D-High Whistle for a Month from this Comment on and only can play Amazing Grace for now (Still need to arrange an Orchestra with it on my DAW). :)

Thanks! For this Flute to get the higher octave you have to blow harder. 🤣 Dirty as that may sound. This one doesn't have a thumb hole.

So the exact one I have is a chieftain v4 Low D. The high notes are in the 2nd octive and take a fair amount of air pressure to hit. 😃 you got this!!

For sure! This is a low D chieftain v4 Irish whistle. Brand name chieftain key of low D style v4 😀 I hope that helps! It was hard to find in the US

Best low irish whistle for beginners? Regular irish whistle?
I think so. The finger spacing on the low whistle is a bit harder depending on how big your hands are. A regular tin whistle might be a good starter whistle 😀
I prefer the chieftain brand. I've not been a fan of the plastic ones myself.
