RENTING A CAR IN GRAN CANARIA, CANARY ISLANDS

- In the Canary Islands one of the biggest company to rent cars must be Cicar. This time we are in Gran Canaria, we rented this Opel Mokka for 98 euros for 4 days. We suppose to get a VW polo but they did a free upgrade. This wasn't the first time, over the years a few times we got a free upgrade.
With less than 25 euros a day you get:
- free of charge reservation on www.Cicar.com, payment on arrival
-zero deposit with full insurance
-unlimited miles
-second driver
Over the years i rented cars in a few places and i think in the Canary Islands, Cicar is one of the cheapest and easy company that i ever used.

Do you need to make deposit?
Or they take this amount from your credit card ?
No deposit, just the price you pay per day. Full insurance, never had any problems

Great Advice. Which is your favourite island from the Canary Islands to drive on?
I have been to 4 of the islands and i think all are amazing, if i will have to choose one, it will be Tenerife.;)

The office it was in the airport. Book well in advance because it is very busy now, after covid.
