Myer! Just when I thought I would only see you in content from PDD & HorseTorques 👍🏼. Nice work man! I enjoy your work/knowledge on video. Keep at it man!
I remember you can change the solenoid without removing the valve body. I replaced the solenoid 3 times on my 46re and I know the 46/47/48re transmissions all have the same valve body design other than the 68rfe which is different.
I have a 97 dodge ram 5.9 cummins my problem is that my 2nd gear doesn't shift properly could it be the governer solenoid or should the bands need to be adjusted....any idea
Hi I wonder if you could give me some advice I’ve got a 2003 2500 Cummins in the uk and I’m having trouble with the trans on the dash the gear indicator only shows P and N then the truck feels like it’s pulling away in top gear if I shut the engine off and restart it a couple of times it highlights D and away it goes I’ve tried changing the neutral safety switch range sensor and today after watching you video I changed the pressure sensor but has made no difference have you ever heard of this problem or can give me some advice it would be greatly appropriated thanks
Ive always heard Josh saying something about you being from Missouri. Just curious as what part you were from. Keep up the good content man! Love the channel!
See im thinking this is my issue also but i cant get my 04 to go into any lower gears no matter what i try so im hoping this still fices it because when i bought the truck the tranny was stamped woth rebuild markings that were one month old when i bought the truck so im hoping when the heat exchanger went bad it took out the governor pressure solenoid and transducer and thats all but coolant never got into the tranny at all instead the tranny fluid pushed into the coolant and it got shut off for good when it happened and when i flushed the tranny lines and cooler and changed the filter and etc there was no sign of coolant at all it was just good red fluid but the coolant system was loaded with trans fluid lol it was fun flushing out lol❤❤❤
Great video with very clear instructions, appreciate mentioning the right socket sizes, etc.
Mer you have some great builds. Thanks for sharing your knowledge it’s appreciated.
Mer I didn’t know you had a channel! I see you a lot on Josh’s channel. But I am glad to be a part of it now. Hope to learn a lot. Adrian

I hate the park rod. That piece has been my biggest battle every time I put the valve body back in.

How much play you like to have on the band apply levers?
Please Sir, May I have more!?
When doing this what gear do you have to be in
🔥🔥🔥
Do you have a vid for a 1999 3500 shift solenoid replacement vid?

Hey man I’ve got a question, my 04 cummins takes a while for 1st and sometiems 2nd gesr to get in
Always change the filter if you drop the pan. Regardless of miles.
Could this sensor cause the transmission not to go into overdrive when it’s cold out?
👍🏻👍🏻
Merrrr why did you stop uploading videos 😢
Thank you!
