The song was written by Slimane and by French-Israeli Yacoov and Meir Salah.

On a pure music quality scale, I think it was the best performance. But like lots of Europeans like me (I'm French), we though that it was way more important to send a message to antisemitism and to support our fellow friends in Israel.

I don't understand . The performance and song was extraordinary great. But. I saw his interwue and there I understood something strange. They asked something dealing Israel. He didn't answer and just interrupt!?!?
His message to me in the end shouting peace ( whitch is a good thing of course) etc. Told me about the ceasefire in Gaza..? By that he totally ruined my feelings. Putty.

Slimane doesn't understand English very well, and so doesn't speak very well. Taking him by surprise in English on a very serious subject like that was extremely uncomfortable, and we can understand. I won't be able to do it myself. It could be worse to try to answer and people don't understand what you really want to say. However he pronounced a few and simple words at the end of his performance. He was not forced to do it, but he did it on his own way.

The fact that you have the audacity to write "Israeli" and keep smiling is outrageous.

Not only the audacity- I have the COMPLETE PRIDE in saying that. I LOVE my country, and I absolutely ADORE my fellow Israelis. I don't need your prejudice to form an opinion of my own people.

La musique n’a rien à voir avec les guerres ! Elle a pour but de rassembler ! Les commentaires à visée politiques ou racistes m’exaspèrent ! On est ici pour commenter les belles performances d’un chanteur et pas pour commenter dans la haine
