Yes the 50a 240v outlet is faster but I must point out that you mistakenly called the household outlet a puny 12 volt outlet! That would be a 120 volt outlet.

I just kept my original charger from 2015 when I crashed and totaled my first Tesla. Insurance companies didn’t ask for it.😂 they haven’t really changed so there’s that. Now I have an extra that came with my 2018 model 3 which was before Tesla decided to not include them with the price of a vehicle. How cheap of Tesla and stupid. Do we buy ANY appliance without the ability to power it.
Why would you choose this charger over the Tesla charger? Also, is it weather proof for outside installation?

i know when I get my Model Y i will be using the lvl 2 charger unless i can afford a wall charger, but I will get the 6-20 adapter to charge my M.Y. cant wait. great video.
Does this charger have a version with built-in billing and management of multiple accounts for an HOA, condominium, or apartment? That’s 40% of American EV market.
That wall plug is dangerous my Tesla cable started melting I was told that’s for ovens not charging…
