Thank you mate. I have just purchased one from ebay because I live in Western Australia. Great review and now (because of you) I know much better what a great help this will be for my late 2012 27 inch iMac. I have subcribed & a big thumbs up mate. + hit the bell icon to watch more of the good stuff from you brother.
Should have put a couple of USB 3.0 drives in there and done some transfer speed tests to verify if it's truly 3.0 and if there is a significant bottleneck if working with 2 devices at once.
It's not. The one I just bought was an ordinary Gentec USB 2.0 hub under the hood, according to system information and the USB device ids.

I have another USB hub but when I plug in my logitech Dongle the Maus and keyboard get disconnected every 5 seconds or so. Does anyone know what this is all about and how to fix it?

I'm actually thinking if the satechi usb c clamp hub in the furthermost outward USB C/TB3 port and this in the most opposite outward USB 3.0 port would both fit.. probably just.. to give the imac tons of front i/o. I guess the silver might look weird though on the dark grey. Must... think... :) Thank you for the review.
