Also understand that when it comes to POF, accommodation and school fees, these things change with time according to the standard of living in the country at the time, Also different schools have different Requirements and the process may not be the same for everyone. You can use Bookings.com if you need a temporary accommodation service.

Good evening maaa. I did malta study visa interview since 22nd of April 2024 and I am supposed to travel on 25th of May 2024 as my induction is on 27th of May 2024. Till now, I haven't gotten my visa neither have I recieved any mail from VFS, what should I do?? Should I write to the embassy for explanation???

You can go online and check for schools in malta, thst way you can compare the fees but Malta has some of the cheapest schools in Europe

It actually doesn't matter, firstly go online and pick a school abd then reach out to the school via theor website and they'd help you with the process

I heard we have to pay our balance of school fee upon arrival at the school. I thought we could work and pay
Yes due to past events and How most people would come and no longer show up in school, most schools don't allow you to work and pay anymore. You are expected to pay the second half upon arrival. Some people even use the school documents and all to get a permit and no longer show up for classes.

Honestly I can't answer this but I can genuinely tell you that if you're hardworking, you'd be fine and if you attend a school that allows you to pay in installment you should be able to sort your bills but the first few months may not be easy....so I'd advice you to plan well. About jobs, it depends on what kind of job you're looking for, it's not so easy...

An insurance plan that covers up to a year...at the moment mine was around €180.

I believe it depends on the school you pick because some schools allow you to pay in installment...and you have to get your permit before you can work. It's quite easy, you just need to follow the right steps. I'd advice you to communicate with your school, they'll help you with the process.

Hi, good day. Pls what is the amount needed for POF in Malta?. I’ve gotten admission at Global college and they have sent me supporting letter for visa. They said the pof is €11,000 but I have a balance of €12,000. I want to find out if the balance school fee has to be part of the POF?
I think you should speak to the school regarding that, but if you have the right amount for the proof of funds, you shouldn't have a problem.

Hello, all you need to do is make some research about the schools in malta, and when you pick the school of your choice, you can reach out to the school via their website. The school should be able to help you with the process including the visa process
Does it mean the winter period is very cold?
Although there's usually no snow like the other European countries but it is very cold...
So, would you advice i get a winter jacket? I would be coming by feb 2024 for studies

@@olusolaolasimbo2373 hello, about requirements as a student, You'd have to talk to the school you're applying to...because every school has different requirements and they'd be the one to help you during the process. And I also don't think there's need for ielts.

Nice one, as a student can you be allowed to work the first month you arrived Malta?
The thing is, there's a process so you may have to get your permit first. Either work or student permit before you can work...and that can take a month or two

@@osazelejacob8766 that depends. if you get a Job permit it's actually better cos once you're done with your course you're expected to return home but your work permit can extend your stay.

Not really, unless your partner is also coming as a student or coming to work, you can both do the process together. I know a couple that did this.
How was the visa interview? Questions they ask
The interview was straightforward and nice, actually there was no stress.
Questions like...
1. Where you're from
2. How much you paid for school fees
3. What is the course you're coming to study/ the modules relating to your course (know atleast 3 or 4)
4. What are your plans after schooling here. Are you going back or staying?
5. Will you work when you come here.
6. Whats your budget as student when you get here.
7. Who is your sponsor.
I hope this was helpful but I believe your school should also help you with the process.

It actually depends on your school...But most schools allow you to pay in installment, you can pay twice or thrice...Depending on the amount.
