Hello Everyone, EID simply means Electronic ID and it’s a way of having all your information regarding to your stay in an European country centralised in one place. You can also use this EID to log in and access all Government related sites in Malta.
You can Obtain your EID after you’ve gotten your student permit or ID card by calling ID Malta and requesting for Your EID and a mail link will be sent to you on how to set it up.

Regarding Tax Depending one how much you earn, there certain Tax brackets which you fall under and that will determine how much will be deducted from you salary
Also you have to pay for national insurance which covers your free healthcare because they’re usually deducted together.
Also note that there are some companies/agencies that may want to take advantage you or over work you while not paying as much as they should, please beware of these antics…

After getting the TRC card, if an individual is able to get a job through JOBPLUS, does this mean automatically the employer will proceed to register the person?

After getting the TRC card, either getting a job through job plus or another means , the most important is for the employer to register the individual?
When you’re discussing with the employer prior to the job you must inform your employer to register for you, yes.

Hello! Yes you need proof of funds, if you’re coming to work.
I don’t know the exact amount at the moment cos of change in exchange rat but about a year ago it was around 4k euros just to show that you can cover your expenses when you’re in Malta.
I am scared about the visa application, reason been that malta dont have embassy in nigeria.

I cannot say, because it’s different in every company and depends on a lot of factors like the employer, your experience and the company.
maltese people are so nice contrary to what people say about europeans
Yeah, like I said in the video. My experience with Maltese people so far has been good and I haven’t had any bad experiences. But it is important to note that Everyone’s reality is different.

Hello, this actually depends on your kind of Job. For me, I do evening classes and I go to school from work on days I have classes and it’s actually better so that days I don’t have classes I just go home to rest/read or do what I need to do.

Can a student apply for residence permit (TRC) immediately upon arrival to Malta or is there any specific timeframe one need to stay before application. After TRC application, can a student start working part-time while awaits the student residence permit?
Yes a student can apply for a residence permit immediately you get into Malta so far the required documents to be submitted are available.
For the second question, it is advisable to receive your student permit/ID first.

If you’re looking to start from somewhere, you have to go to the central areas and main places in Malta. Submit your printed CVs. Also, Linked in & FB Market place is the easiest way to get a job in Malta because they constantly post about job openings, waiting jobs and even formal Jobs there.

There are menial jobs like sales assistant, entry level front desk receptionist, waiting jobs and a number of other jobs to do with zero experience just that the pay may be small considering the cost of living but you can start from somewhere.

Like I stated in the video its for 20hrs as a student, It depends on the job you get, you can be lucky to get a job that pay up to that amount and even more but in most cases the wages are even lower.

Hello, it’s very simple
Just pick a school in Malta depending on the course you want to study (ps: I have a video about the list of schools in Malta on my channel)
Reach out to the school via their website. The school will assign you to someone that will direct you and give you the documents to submit and from there, the school will help you with process. Just communicate with your school of choice.
