I am honestly quite surprised you consider Viktor to somewhat outscale Vlad, since I have always considered Vlad to be in the absolutely insane scaling tier (with say Kayle, Kassadin, and Asol) where you scale beyond what 'mortal' champions can do :) I suppose they do very different things. Seeing this reminds me when I went through a phase of playing a lot of viktor, still kinda miss having to buy the items to upgrade his spells but I guess it's definitely better now that you dont have to hold a slot just for a champ specific item haha. Very wp to have a perfect kdagame, your team also got their stuff together and stopped inting which was great for the win! Couple questions for ya tho, what do you normally have as your off-role and could we see some games for your offrole so we can see your general thought processes/decision making when not on your main role? If I'm planning on mainly playing ryze, what other mids would be good to have in my pocket to round out a selection of champs, like I'd probably want an AD mid as well as a mid that doesn't has ryze's flaws as strengths instead (i.e. long range instead of short, that kinda thing)? Edit: also hopefully I get to see you live on stream soon, but I live in the UK and your streams are terribly timed for me haha, but one day!
his off role is usually adc and hell play like cassio or something. In terms of an ad mid i like jayce but u could also play corki if u want range or u could play one of the ad assassins if range isnt a problem for ad. I would recommend an antimage like syndra or ori so u can play into longer ranged mids and dont just get bullied for playing ryze.

Honestly I think it might make me more aware most of the time, I think sometimes if I'm explaining something that happened a while ago it can make me lose a bit of focus

Can you explain the trading in lane here a bit more. I feel like u were a lot more “active” than I would be in terms of weaving in autos and q. Was ur main logic just avoiding vlad q3 and hard trade on him at all other times? Also can you explain why ur view was baron = we win. After baron i dont think you ended up getting any towers and just got dragged, was it mainly because it denied trundle splitting with Nash? Also this was probably one of ur most useful videos for me (maybe cos I main the champ), thanks!
Yeah just try punish Vlad while his Q is on cooldown and especially avoid damage when his Q3 is up. Normally with baron you can take a lot of gold off the map, in this case though I knew that baron would just extend the game long enough to guarantee that I hit my dcap spike (and slows the game down further so I can hit more spikes beyond that)
Sorcs is not good against MR, sorcs is good against people without MR. So this game I was expecting to have to deal with the full tank skarner and for that sorcs aren't going to be that valuable
@@jtk1141 Flat pen is very good against low amounts of MR, but awful against targets with high MR. For example, if your opponent has 40 MR, then sorc shoes reduces it (40-18) to 22 which is a huge reduction. If your opponent has 100 MR, then reducing it by 22 is pretty much irrelevant and you will reduce more with % magic pen (such as void staff).
If you think about it, viktor E is just a more aimable version of kog'maw E, and his R is basically the same as Kog's aswell.....close enough WELCOME BACK KOG'NATION
How to watch your vídeos man? I've tried to implement what you're talking and I'm just losing and losing, getting totally outperformed by enemy midlaner.

imo blackfire is kinda overrated, it's really good late game but most games I hover over it and it's done far less damage than a ludens would have done at a comparable time

Do you have any tips on dealing with inting teammates, (im hovering around emerald 1-2) and in 8/10 of my last games one of my teammates just straight up runs it down, im talking 0/10/2 type scores while picking asol top etc, im playing mid of course. It is just extremely frustrating, any advice on playstyle or champion, or something like that? Would be much appreciated im losing my mind slowly xD
the players and even the game itself put way too much praise on the person who happened to get the last hit. nafiri didn't even do most damage that fight. not a coincidence though riot knows it's a core foundation to form addictions you need random occasional big rewards.

Just a small question. why go for lucidity boots and not sorc's? (i would go for sorc's since im solo ap against 2 people that can easily buy mr)

Try just focus on one thing at a time until it becomes a habit, even if it takes a week of only focusing on one thing

what are your opinions on comet vs aery for early game rune options for mages such as syndra
imo comet is better most of the time, you would take aery vs melee champs but against melees you want first strike instead (or phase rush)
Do you think them nerfing FS from 15 to 10 gold will make it unviable on viktor?
Should still be good vs melee, maybe gonna be harder to get good value vs ranged though

@@gucz Because you'll be getting magic pen % from cryptobloom (3rd item). Flat magic pen gets weaker when enemies stack MR.
