After trying out two Bluetti panels and having one stop working completely and the other only output about 50W max, I bought a Grecell and am very pleased so far. On good sunny days I've seen it rocking at >140W, which is superb. Recommended!
If you coat the fabric cover with a fabric protective such as what is used on tents and outdoor furniture you can extend the life of the panel for years.
UV. Scotch guard
Yes that’s what I do with tents. I use the scotch guard on all my tent and canopies. I’m looking at one of these to go with the Bluetti 3ba power pack. I’m new to solar power and watch quite a few videos on them and I think what I will try first for boondocking.
Scotch guard is one brand, but there are several other brands

Thanks for the review Bob! I just ordered the Pro version of the 200w Grecell panels. It is just a bit more expensive than the panel you linked but it has the ETFE layer which is supposed to stay cleaner and last longer. With the prime day discount and the Amazon CC rebate it came in at $305 plus tax.

I prefer connecting via mc4 but splicing in sae connectors so you can quickly disconnect panels when u need to move around

Praying for you. I love pets. I have one dog and live fulltime in a van for 5 years.
Two dogs and five cats are going to be difficult to manage living fulltime nomadically.
My dog is as far from perfect as I am.
Perhaps I should admit he is closer to perfection than I could ever hope to be.
I don't have much experience with cats. I am familiar with the term " herding cats".
Honestly I wish you the best and pray for your safety as well as the safety of your pets.
I have several Grecell 100w and 200w portable panels and they all work great. The 200 watt panels have grommets in the corners and can be hung up if needed. I also have 2 of the Grecell power stations and plan on buying another large one because the price is right and the power stations work for my needs. Thank you @Gail-gf7km for the great idea regarding weather proofing the fabric. I think it is a wonderful idea to help protect the investment. Thanks Bob for the review :D.

I bought a $40 solar panel off eBay used. For long distance cycling.
Just to charge my phone. Super happy with it.
I have this panel and I really like it. It’s a little heavy but not too heavy to move around to face the sun as long as you have room. I would like a longer cord because I hate to put my refrigerator and Bluetti out in the weather. That’s my next project. Finding a longer cord. ❤😂
Yes/agreed -- but don't "longer cords" bring on voltage issues?
I'm not a "double E", so I'm fast out of my depth here. But I vaguely remember Will Prous talking about length and voltage needing to be "proportional".

Hi bob. I have been watching your channel for a couple years now and very much respect and enjoy you and all the content and information you are putting out. I am still in the dreaming/planning process. Have not yet started my van life. I was wondering if you could give some tips and information on registering and insuring camper vans. Particularly on DIY builds. For example..what kind of vehicle are they insured and registered as.
I checked this out on Amazon and it says it's compatible with the Anker power station but the amps are so high you can only use 1. Does anyone know how to work around the 20A limit? The Anker 767 can take 1000w input but I can't find any panels that I can put the combination to get 1000w and stay below 20A
For 4000w 12v inverter with 4x1000w solar panels what would be the minimum and maximum batteries needed or required 🤔?
