@@iamcesarq I was never a big fan of corded Masters, so these aren’t a collectible for me. I tend to gravitate more toward Wahl and I had to have those 100 year anniversary Seniors. Not to collect though, I use them all the time. I remember thinking those were expensive at $170, but $400 is just dumb.
I got those guards in black and they work very well I use them for my Oster Fast Feeds and Oster 76 and I really enjoy them. Super Snug and secure and you don't need the 0.5 or 1½ on the fast feed. But to each their own ... only problem is if Zero Gapped they hit the guards especially with the Andis Ceramic blade.
The master for sure. Although just how the masters can get loud with time I have experienced the babyliss trimmers and clippers getting crazy lawn mower loud too. A lot of them do too

I really appreciate this review. Ive been using the masters since they came out. When the cordless came out i was disappointed in how loud they were cause the corded masters are pretty quiet. Well i out used them and now its time for new ones and I was contemplating on getting the limited edition joints but this video made up my mind. Im getting them. Theyre $400 worth to me. Cause im used to them and its a collectable.
Now the other question is will the paint chip off like the red master and the black label ones did back in the day or even like the babyliss clippers and trimmers
Great question! From my knowledge the reason those chip is because it’s on a plastic surface and gold doesn’t do well on that. This is a metal clipper so the gold shouldn’t chip for years to come especially since it looks really like a gold thick layer on it. Now it running off with time due to wear n tear is something else. That will happen with almost any clipper no matter what with time. I recommend using gloves with metal clippers because our own sweat deteriorates the clippers
I just think the price is totally nuts for what it is...and I’m an Andis fan and still use an old corded andis master. For what they’re charging, it should be a lot better and come with a lot more (ie magnetic guards). But it seems that Andis has gotten cheep where others haven’t.

I still don't like the sound 🤷🏽♂️ I don't think it's the loudness (even though they're definitely loud) for me it's the actual sound pitch, I find it annoying especially on a Clipper that has a blade that makes the best crunch sound.

I have a cordless masters already and i wont be buying these. Mine are loud also. Because of the loudness i only use it for specific things (about 1 minute of the haircut)

Andis knows that no TRUE Professional will buy the first gen, after all the issues related to this model, and because there is still plenty of them in the wearhouse, Andis decided to plate the clipper “Gold”, throw a plastic piece “just in case...” in the box, then called it “limited Edition” and threw a very steep $400 price tag on it ( just in case the other half of same inventory doesn’t sell, they still will make a great profit) Now they just chill and collect! What about the people that bought the 1st ones and not even use them, cause they sound like a loud, hollow turd?
