The young man added a series of wedding pictures to his vivid, emotional story about his beloved and their romantic relationship. However, the young soldier hardly expected those shots to spread throughout the entire Internet in an instant! However, that’s not really all that strange, since the photo showed a skinny young man smiling radiantly next to his 120-kilogram bride with rather non-conventional looks. Seeing the weird couple online, many even thought that it was a sham or a fake - the couple looked that unusual. Another prank? Movie shots? Or could it be someone’s skillful work in Photoshop? Those were the possible versions circling on the web... Many users believed that the couple - if they were real - wouldn’t stay together for long in any case. However, first things first…

People are and always have been hung up on looks. It's nothing new probably the cavemen had a standard of beauty. And in the animal kingdom very very much is devoted to looks by natural selection, the way to attract a mate. Brighter feathers, louder hoot, etc etc.
I still don't understand why people in this age and day still think that love has a lot to do with looks instead of how someone is. It goes to show how stupid as a world we are unfortunately.

I did not say that personality and character are not important, but common, look at them.. Who are you trying to fool here, only yourself.
If a person looks just average, I can understand the argument of personality.
But if the person is just ugly, which is the case in this situation, no amount of personality will overcome that, at least not in the case of majority of healthy men. There are of course some men, who deviate from that, might have some fetishes, but that is why we speak about "norms", which are set and determined by majority of society and not its minority.

There is one for all of us. But many young people consider themselves so perfect and beautiful that no one reaches their standard. Many women are over 30 before they have their first child and endanger their child's life since tendons in the birth canal have become old and stiff. You must biologically have your first child before 27, because then the birth canal remains mobile without danger to the child's life.

I did know that women's wombs and canals turn geriatric surprisingly early. Theyre called geriatric pregnancies when they are as old as you stated I think. So true Maria. In the 70's I worked at LAX for 5 years & really liked one of the airline guys. A woman I worked with who was old enough to be my mom, she ask what I saw in him. He was no Robert Redford or Tom Selleck & he had a bump on his neck which I never noticed till she mentioned it. To me looks don't matter, the guy had a personality that just didn't quit & he was funny. There were some very nice looking guys but they didn't measure up to Mr. personality. That's what's wrong with people, so wrapped up in others looks, their over priced designer clothes & shoes, how much money they make. Or wanting to go out with a guy cause he's driving BMW or a Mercedes. Women who'll only date Mr GQ or guys looking for a sexy woman, talk about really shallow people. It certainly doesn't say much about them. Looks fade & a lot of our bodies fluctuate when it comes to weight. But if you've got a great personality & a sense of humor that's who you are. I'd much rather have that than be a phony & a hypocrite any day. Life is what you make it.

I don’t recall seeing this either, but our souls recognize when we have met the right one. It is well beyond physical beauty! The most incredible part to me is how they made it despite the ridicule. Many blessings to them and their little family! God is good!

I have never seen this couple before this vid. Firstly I didn't understand the ridiculing but once I heard the story behind it, I wept. People can find negative in anything, even when there's nothing wrong at all. I'm so happy for this family. That love is what we are supposed to feel and I am so envious of that (in a good way).
