  • Many of you probably know that cheetahs are predators of the family Felidae, native to most countries of Africa and the Middle East. They are also the fastest of all land mammals - they can accelerate to 110 km/h in just 3 seconds. Looking at cheetahs, you understand clearly - nature created these animals to be skillful and fast predators.

    When my daughter was in high school, she ran cross country. She and others on the team would frequently run in the nearby park and zoo. They found when they ran past the wolf enclosure fence, the wolves would come out and run with them on the other side of the fence. Back and forth they would go, both humans and wolves having a great time.

      Here’s an idea. Let cheetahs live in the wild or an outdoor savanna like sanctuary or outdoor open space zoo with all their natural surroundings. It makes no sense to keep them in a 20x15 cage if that at all. Poor cheetahs! Not to mention all the other captive animals.

    • @itsmxtwist
      @itsmxtwist Před 3 lety +3

      Cheetahs are just naturally anxious animals. They often are targeted by hyenas, lions, and leopards. Cheetahs actually do very well in captivity. The reason they are kept like this is because large natural sanctuaries and reserves can often be intruded on by poachers. These conservation efforts from zoos are important for the continued survival of the species. I do agree that any animals in a zoo must have proper care and treatment and that we should be focused on the conservation efforts of animals that need it. If fact a portion of animals that are in zoos are in fact rescues that cannot be released into the wild or would not survive in a wildlife sanctuary or preserve. As well as zoos do have an important role in the education of animals. Sometimes we do not truly comprehend them until we see them in person.

  • @marcoantolini4061

    Humans can learn a lot from animal behaviour. This is just a small glimpse into how loyal and caring animals can be. Human loyalty to one another is not taken seriously. But animals will love you unconditionally and are fiercely loyal.

    • @jackychen7769
      @jackychen7769 Před 3 lety +12

      imo, the issue isn't that human loyalty isn't taken seriously, but that humans are both capable and willing of taking advantage of it. This leads to people adapting to being taken advantage of by being less loyal to people who take advantage of that loyalty which, in turn, leads to people taking advantage of loyalty more discreetly and deceptively, and the cycle continues. Can we learn a lot from animal behavior? Perhaps, but I don't think level of loyalty is the issue. We're a lot like animals after all; we adapt to how others treat us.

But any wild tribe now out there can still eat raw meat and even are cannibals. So tell can you eat human meat?
