Not sure if people realize this, but the sound heard when firing the AKM is not a copy of CoD. Its literally the sound of 7.62x39…

You know what I wish was in this game? If elemental cartridges would give the melee weapons a special effect on the blade. Fire would make the blade super heated, Ice would cover the blade in frost, and electric would galvanize the blade with an electric charge. Kind of a waste not to add that. But at least the effects of burn, freeze, and electrocution are there both on melee and the guns
They really went all the way with the weapon animations. They all have weight to them but still a little bit of flare. They got a really nice middle ground of realistic and flashy. The AK and KS-23 are sooo clean!
>people are surprised that the same guns in other games sound the same or similar to the same guns in a different game
Theres only so many ways you can reload a gun and very few if any way to make it sound different when firing
That’s not the issue. It’s not that the sound similar, its that they sound the _exact same._ Like instead of using a sound library, they downloaded a .zip of MW2019 sound files and put them in their game. The reloading sounds of the PM are the exact same sounds as the Glock 21 in MW2019, the AK reloading sound are the same, etc.
@@tescoshortageBecause… that’s what they did. You’re very much correct.
21:48 I thought it was really the same universal ointment from Vietnam that could not be opened legally.
Funny that the imfdb page is small and with no images from gameplay
Kinda lazy
@@horaya7528 it is lmao
One thing I’m not a fan of is some of the melee weapon’s appearance. Some of them look rightfully ramshackle together but we’re lead to believe this polymer stuff created them so why does some of it look like something the protagonist built by hand at a work bench instead of something that was conceived via schematics and came out of a machine that can make a factory fresh gun. Weapons like the paschet, fox, snowball to me look like they should have been improvised weapons. The rest look like actual weapons with design in mind, and not just pipes and crude sharp objects. It’s my only complaint.
That's right, it's improvised. A glitch in the program code of this Red Locker (forgot the name) made him more sadistic and crazy. This is especially noticeable in the way melee weapons look. However, firearms are made as they should be.
I think this game only popular at first because of how they create the twins in the game XD
Don't know if I was right, but I hear some people say that.
The twins definitely got them some traction but it definitely didn't make the game popular
@@neonknight6373 the Concept trailers and all the released gameplay, was what drew me in, the twins were just a nice "bonus" 😂
@@neonknight6373 i think the conflict between rusian-ukraine also afflect the reducing popularities of this game
You are aware that MW19 recordered real gun sounds right?
So did this game....
Yes? What did we think they are, synthesizers?
@@tescoshortage I suppose not you, but many others in this comment section were acussing these devs of copying

Firing sound and reloading sound are identical. Reverb sound isn’t.
0:11 sound from X16 MW2019
No the sounds were recording with real guns like cod
@@Slammedf18No they did not. They used the exact same sound files as MW2019 did, apart from reverb. You can hear how compressed and low-quality these sounds are, as if the developers had simply used a screen recording of MW2019 gameplay and converted that into an .mp3 file.
Yet another game's reloads that suffer from the "COD Tacticool" era of video games. You hate to see it 😔
"Fixed" my comment since people seem to be having a hard time understanding
Does cod have sci fi weapon attachments?

Literally just how guns sound, Christ alive
That’s how the gun sounds
@@Bruh14__Except it isn’t. I have literally shot an IZH-70 and it sounded nothing like that. They just ripped the sound effects from MW19, whether it be from the files directly or from a video.
@@tescoshortageThey definitely just nabbed the sounds off a recording with how muddy the audio is.
We couldn’t bother to sink some money into making most of our weapon sounds ourselves, so we just poorly ripped them from a different terrible video game!
So many "cope" in the comment here...
People still can't realize what free sound library is...
Well because all people are dumb
Good think i am not the only one who knew that
@@Mugnum520Yeah like for example The sound of Kalash and Ks-23 is from free sound library and not from COD
the sounds in mw19 were recorded by infinity ward _for_ that game specifically, not taken from a sound library
the AK and pistol reload and fire sounds are very clearly ripped from mw19
